I know you probably didn't think about it, but it's been really difficult for trans people over the last two days to be bombarded with "women" and "men" messages in regard to the abortion issue.
On top of being scared about everything related to abortion and same sex relationships rights, we are now seeing talks and quotes being shared by our families and friends about "women's rights" and "women's bodily autonomy" that completely ignore transmasc and non-binary people who have a uterus, as well as promoting the idea that all women can get pregnant, which is false.
So, if you could try not to boost messages that equate "can get pregnant" with "women", it'd be really appreciated ♥️
Be conscious of the vocabulary you use. Be conscious of the people you aren't including.
Why won’t you include blushing?
Because I am a black woman. The reason I dont include blushing is because not everyone blushes. Dark skinned readers do not blush. We feel our faces get hot when we're embarrassed or something but you cant physically see a blush on our faces. Every single "x reader" on tumblr doesnt think to include all their races on them. I try my hardest so everyone of all colors can enjoy x readers. I do it so they can feel included too❤
