So I've been reading the linked universe, specifically from the user linkeduniverse, (go read) and Im just -AAAHH

So. There's definitely an influence of Technoblade in this(may he rest in peace).
The actual idea:
TW: Child soldiers, war, death, curses, near-insanity mentions.
So Reader in this is a villain. Not necessarily, more anti-hero? Idk
So their back story basically is that they're a child who's village was destroyed in a war and grew up as an orphan. When they got older, they were unfortunately dragged into another war and forced to be a soldier.
Two decades pass, their in their early 30s and are one of the top soldiers in this war, which is coming to an end. However, they're very unhappy with all that happened and decides to fake their death with the help of their closet friend after the war just so they don't have to deal with any other wars after this since this has been a lot.
So now their 'dead' and leaving out their life up in snowy mountain with a farm. How this works? Minecraft magic(yes. I want to involve the mc mechanics) anyway, so for 5-8 years, their in there late 30s now, and living the peaceful life they've always wanted, sorting through the issues and helping a nearby village they freed from a tyrant rulling it.
So the friend that helped them escape came to reader for help since their on the last legs. They tell reader about a nearby, their home, kingdom being tyrants and planning a war and asks for their help in stopping it. They wouldve said no initially. If not for the fact that their friend is about to die and is practically begging them since his got a family to keep safe. And so, reader takes on their late friends mission to take down the monarchy.
After months of gathering info and planning, they finally strike and take down the tyrannical royals of the kingdom. In this, they've gained the name- flower of death given how elegantly and efficiently they took down the soldiers.
Once they've taken the citizens somewhere new where they can thrive in peace. They head out on a mission to take down every tyrannical kingdom. And in this time, they've gained the curse to hear the voices of those they've killed. And that's fun
For a decade, they've made quick work of tyrannical kingdoms and negotiated with decent kingdoms as to how they can do better by their people.
So now in their late 40s, they've met those match in a battle and wins but is close to death because of a poison they have no cure for. So, expecting their end, they head back to the mountain they've found peace in. And in their house, they pass quietly.
But, because of shenanigans from the gods and Hylia being Hylia. She bargains with this universes god to temporarily transfer reader to her universe as to help out the links with the Shadow.
They agree and reader is in legend of Zelda. And they meet the links and plot happens.
This isn't a fully developed story yet since I still want to:
-Add the fact that reader is barely holding on to their sanity because of the curse
-struggles with guilt of killing those in the first war she fought in but not for the monarchs. She despises them.
-hates the gods because they did nothing when their people were in need
-tension between the chain and reader once they learn that reader has slaughtered many kings
Im also deciding to not add romance since (some of) the chain has romantic interest and reader is like 50, I don't feel comfortable writing them romantically with anyone younger than them by 10 years, unless someone is in their 40s too bit I doubt it so until I know they're ages, it's all platonic. Even if I did know, I'd still keep them platonic because we love mother figures... Sort of
