SQ: *sheepishly knocks on the door to his uncle’s office*: Sorry… can I come in?

Nicholas: *jumps up in excitement knocking everything off his desk*: Nephew! Come in! Make yourself at home! Have a snack! <3

Since everyone loved my last post on the TMBS Benedict family:

Nicholas: I’m sorry Nathaniel. I regret leaving you, but it’s clear that any trace of the brother I loved is gone, and you’ve given me no choice.

I want more cousin moments between SQ and Constance in season 2. (I know she’s not adopted (yet) but she practically is)

SQ: Please don’t hurt my dad. I know he’s done bad things, but I still care about him.

Constance *putting away her deadly weapons*: Fine, only for you cousin. But I will not hold back when it comes to his emotional destruction. *pulls out poetry book*

How did Milligan (who was presumably working for Curtain at the time unless he was hired later) and Garrison react when Curtain adopted SQ? Cause that had to have been weird for them.

Curtain *holding baby SQ in a meeting*: first order of business. Seeing as one of my best employees has died and the other parent is not in the picture, I naturally will be adopting his child, as it is known how incredibly paternal and charitable I am. Don’t think this is about me feeling guilty about something, or about me being sad because I want a family, or about me trying to lovingly shove a baby into a brother size hole that was ripped into my heart because it’s not.

Milligan and Garrison: *exchange confused and concerned looks*

Lucky for me, I’ve processed all my feelings. I’ve gone through the five stages of grief. Denial, anger, journaling, cat adoption, cat returning to the adoption place, screaming into the wilderness, chopping up all the trees in the forest, and not giving a hoot.

What I hear when I’m being yelled at is people caring really loudly at me.
