I opened myself to the gentle indifference of the world.
-- Albert Camus
(Paris)
"aromantic people are emotionless" "aromantic people are cold" Yeah, I am. I am indifferent and apathetic and detached and frigid, so what? Let me live my life and stop trying to make me "love" the way you do. In fact, stop trying to make me "love" at all. I don't even have to love my friends and family or my cat. I can care and support for these beings nevertheless. I can understand them and be there for them. And no, that is NOT love.
I rarely desire. I violently try to feel nothing—to become entirely apathetic. What good does yearning do? The second I want something a little badly, the universe will not give it to me.
I could say “I care” a hundred times to try and convince everyone and myself that I do, but the things I was once passionate about have become a chore and I can’t feel anything for it, even the fear of failing isn’t enough phase me.
Evil thrives in the shadows of indifference.
Sit back and watch God do his big one, while you heal, grow and prosper. It will all work out! ♥️
Arriva un'età in cui non cerchi spiegazioni, ma pace.
Selezioni il silenzio, scegli l'essenziale e lasci andare ciò che è inutile.
L'indifferenza diventa un'arte, la serenità una priorità.
