PLZ HELP WITH INFECTED PIERCING
I have an infected rook piercing :(((
If you know piercing and can help a girl out, keep reading…please…
Prompt 14
Whumpee got their ears pierced right before they were kidnapped. Without the proper cleaning stuff, they get infected within a week. Their ears are red and painful, the piercing sites all pus-filled and swollen.
Whumper just loves yanking them around by their ears, pulling at the piercings and tugging at their earlobes.
guys my lip is like red and swollen on one side cause im pretty sure my left snake bite piercing got infected should i change my piercings with the lower ones so my lips can breathe or. also how do i treat infected piercings i dont trust google allat much
My 2nd lobe piercings get infected evey other month and I'm just sick of it. I tried switching to titanium jewellery and many other things and nothing helped. RIP, I'll miss how cute you were, but not worth the pain 🪦💔
my helix piercings keep getting infected cause im so damn stressed and my immune system is nonexistent at this point i wanna scream
I have a slightly infected helix piercing, does anyone have any advice that isn't "go and see your piercer"? It's only a mild infection but cleaning it as he told me to (with a saline wound spray aka salt water) want doing anything for it, it's a bit soothing at the time because it's cold but it's not actually helping the infection. I know alcohol would probably help but I'm not sure if it's too harsh. Since it's not badly infected (e.g. leaking pus, swollen, bleeding etc) I don't want to take it out, partly because there's no need to but also I heard doing so can make it worse and you should only take it out if it's badly infected. I'll list the issues with it in case that help. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me!!
The piercing is:
Slightly crusty (hate that word but it is)
Still hurts to put any pressure on, nowhere near as much as when I just had it done but definitely more than it should be at this point (it's about a month and a half old)
Gets irritated from being touched, including when I'm cleaning it (I try not to touch it but obviously to clean it I have to, I also occasionally will have a quick feel if it's hurting more than usual just to see if it's swollen if there's no mirror around, and luckily it has never been swollen yet)
Basically it's acting like a fresh piercing + some dry gunk on it
So if anyone can give me advice I would really appreciate it!! Just please don't say to go and see a piercer because obviously I can't do that right now :/
