when humanity and the Astrals turned their backs on Ifrit, Ifrit turned his back on them as well. just as the Astrals created mankind, Ifrit created his own race- called infernals, from the Infernian, they live in the deepest reaches of the earth, away from the reach of mankind. 

Noctis is one such infernal, an inquisitive and mischevious being sent on a grand assignment by his creator to work with humanity to investigate the source of the mysterious disease that has crept all the way to the dark depths of their home. He teams up with another of his kind by the name of Prompto, and two snacks humans by the names of Ignis and Gladio, in order to try and save both their worlds.

About Infernals:

Humans often refer to them as devils or daemons, but Infernals bear no relation to the scourge-afflicted beasts that can only appear past nightfall. They were created in Ifrit’s image, and thus bear more resemblance to him than the other Astrals. Their horns, wings and tails are mostly for form and not function- hard to use wings when you live mainly beneath the earth- but their fangs are very much for function. 

As a punishment to humankind, Ifrit created his beings to feed on their life and vitality. Like the myth of a vampire, infernals feast on the blood of mankind. This is considered penance for humanity’s sin of abandoning their god; each life taken by one of Ifrit’s chosen beings is considered repayment for this sin.  

As a race, they are crafty, clever, and tricky, but they are often singleminded and somewhat naive. Human morals seem below infernals; they care little about life or death, and their own whims are often more important than any concept of right or wrong. They are remarkably fond of taking human lovers, and are highly physical beings- they use skinship and sexual behavior as affirmation and bonding between friends, and often use seduction to lure in human victims. 

Infernals rarely leave their realm and have had limited to no contact with humans for centuries. Although some speak Eosian Common, most speak primarily the Astral language, as taught by their creator. Most Infernals are also fluent in Ancient Solheil, as that was the last era when they had sustained contact with humanity.  (Fun fact: this is also the reason why most pop culture has demonic summoning incantations in latin Solheil!)

They aren’t especially proficient with technology. It is easy to dazzle an infernal being with a cellphone, a television, or a car. Centuries of seclusion don’t lead to much progress, and they can still employ some archaic speech and habits.

I’m not a writer by any means but I can relate to that in the sense that I felt the avengers(despite its countless flaws),inspired me.With Thor 2, I went into the movies with ideas and left with a blank mind. I realyl hope you write something though.
