Those two definitely possess some degree of sentience. There's a whopping 6 emotes of the Log conveying different emotions (I need more, though - please, I'm for real) and 4 emotes of Sparky.
The Log is hinted/shown to be sentient through:
Its card description saying: "A spilt bottle of Rage turned an innocent tree trunk into "The Log". Now, it seeks revenge by crushing anything in its path!"

A Log called "Pam the Log" is a main character in the fourth installment of the book series "Books of Clash". She appears as a side character in the other volumes as well.
Sparky is hinted/shown to be sentient through:
A loading screen hint saying: "Calling Sparky a trash can on wheels hurts her feelings."

And then there are a bunch of characters which I'm not sure about whether they are sentient or not.
Like, the Inferno Tower and Mortar both got emotes in which they show signs of being alive (Inferno Tower blinks, Mortar shows a droplet after failing to launch a ball well - indicating embarrassment).

Just like how we got a Mortar emote conveying emotions, I need the developers to do the same for the X-Bow and Tesla. I mean, I once came across a random YouTuber's video in which they animated a dancing X-Bow emote and ever since I saw that, I NEED IT BADLY.
Furthermore, in [Clash-A-Rama! episode "Giant vs. Giant Problem"] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KOohzZfoss, a Giant fights a Level 10 Cannon in a wrestling ring. The Cannon is referred to as "the Champ". And in [Clash-A-Rama! episode "Hog Rider Rides Again"] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUFj0fmKolc&t=464s, a Bomber interacts with his bomb. The bomb has strong, apparent anthropomorphic features. Poor bomb was cheated on. Dark.

Some people argue that all Building may be sentient, as they are not confirmed to be operated by Troops, like the Flying Machine, for example. Needless to say, I approve of this hypothesis.
