what kind of fanfictions and youtube videos are addie into tho?

Hello friend!! Thank you for asking me to go deeper into Addie's browser history from when she was a young teenager (and I'm sorry for the answers you're inevitably going to get)

To truly get into what Addison was into when she was in her early teens (and maybe still a little now, let's be real), we need to establish her environment. Addie is from upstate New York, in one of those primarily white towns that basically scream suburbia. She's an only child, her parents are still together and basically they really wanted her to have a stable little life. College, job, husband, kids, dog, the works. Her dad never truly understood her passions and considered them unrealistic, her mom sided with her dad in most situations. So keep that in mind when we dive into the internet history of Addison, a queer theatre kid with dreams bigger than the sleepy town she grew up in.

The first formative internet experience Addison had was googling 'Am I gay'-quizzes. Private window, primarily from blanket forts when her parents weren't home. All with the intention of no one being able to see what she was doing. The quizzes did nothing but leave her more confused about her feelings, so she ended up on YouTube instead, secretly watching the 'popular' lesbian creators of the decade past. Ally Hills, Stevie Boebi, Ash Hardell, Hannah Hart... if they at any point made videos about lesbianism, Addie has probably seen it and internalised it. They normalised her feelings for her. Hayley Kiyoko's Girls Like Girls music video was released at a formative age for her, so having creators to 'fall back' on to show a more positive example was nice. Additionally, Stevie Boebi went on to feature on many kink-adjacent channels, which combined with Addie's newfound love for reading fanfiction was a gateway drug into things she'd be too scared to admit out loud. Alternatively, we have to remember she was also big on theatre. She would have a proficiency in specifically finding bootlegs of big shows on YouTube, knows most productions by Team Starkid by heart. Addison, although now being / having been a Broadway performer, still has a hard drive with bootlegs on it. She's offered to send them to a girl she met, too. Don't worry about that too much.

Now for the juicy fanfiction bit! Addison once again is a theatre kid and Glee aired when she was growing up, so Glee fanfiction was one of the first things she really started reading, combined with obscure fanfiction about musicals. Tumblr led her to rabbit holes of Buffy fanfiction with the promise of girls kissing maybe... then when that wasn't enough anymore she had a time where she went through an unhealthy amount of Grey's Anatomy fanfiction. She never watched the show, but she learnt that there was an entire subsection of fanfiction shipping Meredith Grey with Addison Montgomery, and Addie being gay and closeted and chasing the high of the spotlight really enjoyed reading works that were easily about her, if that makes sense.

The small corners of the internet she created for herself really did pull her through the miserable time she had growing up... Thank you for asking about it, I hope it's provided some fun insights into Addie <3

She stands partially in the shadows, visage slightly obfuscated by the low light. There's a cigarette between her lips, a glint in her eyes, and her arms are crossed tightly across her chest. It took a lot of work to get her to stand still long enough to be asked anything. You wonder if she'll answer at all. You stand firm despite her staring daggers at you and ask your questions.

6. Describe your Beast in one sentence. The Kindred shifts, a thoughtful noise escapes her. She answers after a brief moment, you get the feeling she really is trying to think of good answers... The Devil, trying to push me to go farther than I have to.

9. What's the worst thing you have done to survive? She scoffs. You're talking to an immortal creature of the night, what could I say to you that would surprise you? After another beat, she concedes. Lie, I suppose. Simply lie.

25. Who was the first mortal you hurt as Kindred? The first mortal I hurt? That depends on how direct you mean the pain I inflicted. The first person I physically harmed was an overzealous and perceptive guard within the Lubyanka building in Moscow. The first person I hurt without lifting a finger had been much more personal, but I'm not interested in giving names.

35. Do you think you deserve redemption? There is a long pause. Well, I'm at least going to try to earn it, if anything.

God I have a lot of stoic, untalkative characters. I hope the flavor text helps alleviate the frustration of barely being able to get answers out of them. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Khloe - Khloe is your classic late 20s/early 30s Southern USA girl who would like to get married one day... so yes if Ralph asked her she'd probably be like "YES." She is also committed to the coterie so while Ralph and her would share the official rock, they'd probably have other jewelry to represent Christian and Kyle too! Christian would be Khloe's man of honor and Kyle would be Ralph's best man. :3 They're forever involved in each others' lives forever!! These two have done a mission or two together and hung out alone a few times before their first "unofficial" date. BUT, their first real alone kind of charged meet up was when Khloe asked Ralph to help her locate Choleric blood for her Thinblood formula. They snuck up on a graffiti artist after sewer crawling, drank a little, and their relationship suddenly and rapidly culminated after when Khloe was buzzed off of passion and energy juice! They've been glued at the hip ever since that night basically. 16. If they've had one, where did they have their first kiss? Their first kiss was after their first sexual encounter post sewer crawl... they got so caught up in the moment of getting together they kind of forgot to kiss. So! In the afterglow Ralph had asked her to be his girlfriend and Khloe was like "oh my God I need to kiss him." So she DID. 18. Quick! Their partner(s) birthday is today and they need to get a last minute gift because the actual present got delayed in shipping! What do they get and from where do they get it at? Khloe - Aside from being silly and sexy about it, she'd probably stop buy a silly birthday card but write something really genuine and sweet inside for him.... and then probably gas station tiger pills for the meme. Ralph's a funny guy but a huge huge softy so the card would get him and the tiger pills would make him laugh. Ralph - He would get her flowers of course and something pink and plushy to go with them! Something small because the big stuff's coming! 19. Someone's having a bad day, how do they cheer them up? Khloe - Big snuggle time. Placing his head to her chest and wrapping around him like a soft cocoon and give his head lots of kisses to let him relax. Big man has big anxiety and sometimes he needs to be grounded. Ralph - Like Khloe, it's snuggle time. Big arms made for hugging, soft lips made for forehead kissing when times are tough. 21. If they got a shared pet, what would they get and who would name it? Khloe - If they were human she'd probably want a dog with Ralph that they could walk around with! Possibly named something like... Gilgamesh but you call it Mesh or something haha. In their current Thinblood state I don't think Khloe wants to subject an animal to their revolutionist lifestyle! Ralph - Per Planeteer: "SO SHE CAN SHARE HER LOVE WITH SOMETHING OTHER THAN HIM?!?! I THINK NOT" but in all seriousness possibly a goldfish. Hee hee thank you everyone!!! I LOVE THESE TWO FOREVER.

For Nyth and Noa! What are your favorite plants? Why?

Nyth practiced for the first question for a bit but it was taking too long. <3 Nyth and Noa are CLASSIC vampires who love roses. Though being a botanist with a whole ass degree Nyth also loves practical plants with other uses, like kudzu! Thank you!! (Nyth is @thesixthplaneteer's!)
