I was curious about Noa's thoughts and feelings on each of the different Hecata bloodlines. Does she have any bias towards any of them?

Ah hi!! I like this question thank you for asking! :3 This is a semi-plot point within our personal storyline/canon for Nyth and Noa so it's good to think about! Noa is huge on family and being together, finding strength in those you surround yourself with. She has studied her father's library, Don Rothstein's vault of wealth, the forbidden books of Sabbat Harbingers. She knows in this world you have to also roll with the times and not underestimate anybody until proven otherwise. Clan Cappadocian couldn't catch up with the changing times, Clan Giovanni eventually couldn't catch up with the changing times, and now we have Hecata, who hopefully through a diverse lens, things may actually get done... perhaps. When she was younger she may've had more of a Giovanni-purity bias, but her outlook has changed with her intense friendship with the Thinblood Nythanel. He doesn't have her breeding, her education, her power, but yet he succeeds and thrives like a flower peeking through concrete. In Modern Nights she knows she needs others to balance her short-comings, and you may as well make them family while you're at it. In regards to the non-Giovanni family clans: Nagaraja - Noa in modern nights essentially "adopts" a Nagaraja by the name of Crystal, so she's definitely not against having them at her side. She pities the flesh-eaters actually, for having to rely on not only blood but flesh as well. Noa has always been a "bagger" (though she doesn't take from hospitals, she's just given blood indirectly), so the idea of such visceral intimacy is interesting to her. Crystal and her clan's every night is Noa's most distant thoughts, something she's never dreamt of experiencing - being so close to your prey you eat them whole. She does appreciate having them around for a clean-up crew, if one must think in terms of business. She is curious about the clan's history - something her little fledging knows nothing about. Samedi - Noa has only dealt with Samedi when she's worked with Setites, so unfortunately it's not been very positive. Most of the Samedi who exist currently in Hecata are not their desiccated older brethren. She does think the older of this necromantic bloodline are incredibly interesting of course, but they're still a mystery to solve. Harbingers of Skull/Cappadocians - Noa is pretty bitter when it comes to the Harbingers, as they were the main assaulters of her home when the family compound was attacked. The Harbingers took many of her kin in their fetish objects or obliterated their souls entirely, possibly even her Father's. Many of the Harbingers hate the Giovanni (IT'S ON SIGHT!) and if they had never attacked her family she probably would pity them and hope they could find common ground eventually. While she can certainly be the grown up in the room and not cause a fight, there is a seed of distrust between the Harbingers that are suddenly joining with her clan and herself, wondering who amongst them are still bitter. She does appreciate their vast libraries and journals of necromancy - after all she has learned some incredible rituals after taking from a Harbinger that had threatened her life previously. Having grown up GIOVANNI and now walking into the future with more necromancer clans - Noa DOES hope for commonality and the continued survival of her arts... though the long animosity of the clans of Death hangs like a warning above them and she's not stupid. :3 THANK YOU FOR ASKING.... 15. Do any of your characters have a trait or flaw of your own? If so, what is it? Grossly ride or die and mostly monogamous. xD I am unfortunately very dog-coded in person and love to be loyal and deeply in love and I also don't really feel like sharing even amongst my handmade people... I know! I'm sorry! I have to make active efforts to be not-loyal and duplicitous and a liar when playing certain characters... which isn't terrible and is super fun when I do it! Just I knee-jerk react loyal lovers all the time... which I am myself IRL haha! Also: Dark hair. I have no light hair OCs. My hair is black-brown and I've never thought about going blonde really.... maybe lavender silver but... the work. xD

16. Do you have a character that was created from a dumb/ silly idea but now you can't imagine not having them? I think Khloe was made as "HURR HURR BREEDABLE THINBLOOD" kind of funny idea and then she became the little badass she is now! She has nearly all the life-like merits and associated flaws you can have, nearly completely alive save for being obviously not which I fully gave her with the possible "pregnancy" subplot.... sorry.... Lyre was also made to be "strong-body vampire girl who can get with big hot werewolf boy" but now has a cool little piece in the story.... Don't look at me I'm sorry!!

17. You suddenly switch places with one of your characters, which one would you prefer to be? The danger is too much for some of them! Probably Lyre, just lock me up in a cozy mountain cabin with my werewolf boyfriend.... heaven..... >_> Man she is coming up a lot in these asks today, isn't she???

19. Which character is least spoken about? Speak about them now! I spoke about Lyre last time, so I guess lets say Lyubov this time! Lyubov is my Tremere (but an SPC really) who is a path of Morpheus dream-shaper. She's a bit of a classic Tremere bitch and big old masochist... She's unfortunately the Childe most involved with her annoying sire, the mysterious Atticus. I think this poor girls big flaw is "knows too much" and can't escape it.

Hello gorgeous!! Sorry for the delay! T_T I had gotten so busy! Thank you SO SO much for asking me about her! For Noa!Rook! 19 - What is Rook's love language? What love languages do they respond best to? Now we all know the controversy with the love languages but we'll gloss over that for this! Noa loves to give words of affirmation and spend quality time with those she gives loves to. She is a generally quiet person, but she loves to listen. The words she choses to say she feels always need weight behind them, so all she says to you should mean something. She is fine quietly parallel working and enjoys it greatly. All time spent with the partner, listening to the partner, is the most important thing to her. Noa wants to receive time back too! She wants you to be with her as much as you can, and she loves action that backs it up. She doesn't quite need words... though they're nice. She doesn't need gifts, even if they're nice. You are what she wants. <3

28. Does Rook have any pets/animal companions? Noa in Veilguard does not have any animal companions, but I think she REALLY wants a mabari. She's Antivan but I imagine being a Grey Warden means she's working with Ferelden Wardens often, so those big things are probably always around! She would call him something terrifying - like Thanatos or etc... but he'd have a big bow collar and be the sweetest puppy! Maybe later in the Veilguard timeline she gets one, or if they survive the events she'd get one...

45. Who was Rook's closest friend before joining the Veilguard? Anyone who knows me knows that Noa's best friend before joining is NYTHANEL!!! Who belongs to @thesixthplaneteer. He is her fellow Grey Warden, but they were also in the Antivan Circle together! He is a Qunari/Elf transman mage. They have a deathpact together, promising to live and die together. If one gets Called, the other goes.

Hi! So I am gonna ask some questions but firstly I wanted to tell you that Olivia has been a huge inspiration for me. As a trans woman (that is also 6'2) seeing you make a beautiful, strong character that has a lot of physical similarities to me makes me actually very emotional. I love the representation I feel I have with her that I truthfully haven't felt with any other trans character I can think of. That being said, 27, 30, 41 and 42 for her of course!

Q__Q that's so wonderful to hear, holy shit. thank you! i'm beyond lucky i get to live the rest of my life knowing i have a character who's made a positive impact on somebody with an identity not my own, and the privilege of creating and sharing her with the world. for real

HMMMMMMM it's hard to say! our band of neonates didn't get to toe around the kindred world too heavily (the prince was actually more or less trying to keep us a secret). we saw a Hecata kindred feed on someone once and, y'know. those screams left an impression..........

not including her own clan, Olivia really liked the Grangel!

damn that's a hard one. i think Olivia would have to think about it before eventually declining. the Ravnos in our setting come from a very similar scene to hers (party kids, goths, alts, etc), and her primogen is one of the sincerest people of kindred authority she'd ever met since being embraced. he's fiercely protective of his Ravnos, even ones like Olivia and Dante who were embraced through unconventional means (having no REAL sire and embraced without the consent of the camarilla).

HM.... HMMMMM............ probably Grangel again. while she's not REALLY in touch with her beast side, the Grangel's community bond is like steel. Olivia would probably feel a lot less alone compared to the Ravnos's curse of not being able to stay in one place.
