DAY 2 of The 100 Day Project! On to orange and yellow (ok, Canary Yellow). I like how this turned out. I didn't think about it very hard. Will all of these be floating heads? Maybe! Probably not actually.
It's the last day of January have some tiny flowers
I knew the first few months would be dry of art but it's sad not to have anything so I did this. First art of 2023!
watercolor blob guys :)
I keep trying to post on the weekends but here we are on Monday again
I wanted to make some little icon/mascot guys so have some inky cephaloblobs (they’re ink blobs, but made as cephalopods... get it?)
DAYS 5 & 6 of the 100 Day Project. I'm counting it as two days because I doodled on this for two days! The inks are Emerald and Cobalt Winsor & Newton inks. We are about to start packing up to move house so this project will be pretty disrupted for the next month or so. It might become just a sketch in the sketchbook project. That's still drawing, so it counts!
After some months of feeling unmotivated to make anything I've decided to try The 100 Day Project. Each day for 100 days I'm going to make a drawing! To start, I'm going through my Winsor & Newton inks and using pairs of inks that are next to each other in rainbow order to make that day's drawing. So to start we have pink and orange. (Technically these are Scarlet and Orange.)
This is not a great time to start this (kids will be home from school most of these days and we are moving next month!) but I'm hoping I can rise to the occasion most days! Has anyone else tried the #100dayproject before?
Just thrilled with the rain we've been getting here.
