My anxiety is so bad my chest hurts and I KNOW it's dumb I KNOW I will handle it tomorrow but I can't handle it now and my body won't let that go not matter how I try and focus on something else.

I really wish at times like this I could have an Inkspren like Jasnah and Ivory. I need someone to tell me "this thing is not."

As a certified elsecaller, I can confidently say that inkspren are very boring design wise, at least compared to the other radiant spren. So I propose a new design for the elsecallers spren:

In shadesmar they maintain the inky appearance, but in the physical realm, instead of looking like a smaller version of their normal form, they take on the appearance of chess pieces (or like, whatever the roshar chess equivalent is)

I mean, they're made of Investiture, after all.

This entire tournament was inspired by a friend asking me which invested art I'd most want to have— and I haven't decided yet, but said maybe I'd want to be a Cultivationspren. This was not the answer they were expecting.

Two ways of bowing that are similar (whether on purpose or by coincidence):

Emuli greet an old friend " by holding the left forefinger to the forehead and bowing in respect". (The Way of Kings, chapter 55)

A dark spren, facing Jasnah, "regarded her for a moment, then raised two fingers to its forehead and bowed, as if in respect". (Words of Radiance, prologue)

I think its interesting how inkspren are so preoccupied with objectivity, saying “This is.” so much, compared to cryptic spren, who are fascinated with the way humans can say something is other than it is.  Not sure if it leads anywhere, just something to think about.
