Finally got to read King Lopen/Elsecaller today...it's been nagging at me that it's the one cosmere book I haven't read (besides Way of Kings Prime if you count that, which I personally don't consider a cosmere book)

I have so many questions about those two Jasnah met in Shadesmar...I want to know more. So bad. Worldhopper stuff always draws me in even when it's just random crap.

King Lopen was fun as well. So that's why I heard Lopen was king for a while. But I enjoyed it.

Now I just need to remember where in the world I saw something about highspren being in Elsecaller. That did not happen. I can't tell if I misread spoilers or just saw fake spoilers entirely...

Okay, but can we all agree that soulcasting is the most op of the radiant powers.

Correct me if im wrong but doesn't soulcasting allow its user to transform things into anything they want with virtually no limitations?

Does anyone else buy into the theory that Szeth & Jasnah *could* switch orders (so Szeth becomes an Elsecaller and Jasnah a Skybreaker)? I know it's kind of out there but I feel like we genuinely have a few indications there's something there.

Thinking about the Elsecallers...

They are all about self improvement.

Kinda want the fourth or fifth idea to just be. "I am food enough." Or "I am worth it."

That yes, pursuing the betterment of the self is incredibly important and a good endeavor

But you must also love who you are. Who you have been. And who you want to be.

Just a quick reminder, Jasnah might have been less lonely and unsure over her status of becoming a knight radiant if she stayed more in Kholinar as her little brother was also being scouted for cryptics, possibly for several years.

Reminder, Elhokar could have been less paranoid if he had his big sister to advise him on those twisted shapes in mirrors and to explore his own potential.

Reminder the royal siblings could have literally and figuratively build their country up through shared soulcasting and leadership, focusing on their own truth and potential.
