Insect house update!!

The mason bees have started hatching, as you might tell from the open walls in the picture. And now that the bees started moving out, wasps have begun to move in!

This wasp of the species Auplopus carbonarius has built its own nest now. At first I thought it was gnawing the walls of the mason bees open as I didn't know anything about this species, but it was building them! What a mother.
