There's boss music playing near your boyfriend
"--What in the Silent Hill is this."
Man trying to sneak into a dorm room for a good time is having a very bad time walking past possessed chanting baby dolls embedded in the walls. Not nearly intoxicated enough to deal with it.
@inspectorboobzilla
He comes to her not with a bang or even a knock, but with an empty mug and a teapot; with total, understanding, sympathetic silence that is softly interrupted only by the sound of tea being poured into the mug, once it is set down in front of her.
He says nothing the entire time, opting to let her speak first while he sits down adjacent to her and pours his own mug.

CRYING
"There are gonna be babes with swords so mad that you're not single in like four years, istg."
Nix,
I ain’t great with letters. Or words. Or feelings. You know that. But you also know I hate leavin’ things unsaid. Mostly because they come back to bite you in the ass later. So. Here goes.
You’ve got this way about you… calm, patient, annoyingly steady. Like a rock I keep tripping over but secretly depend on. And yeah, I act like it drives me up the wall, but it keeps me grounded more than I’ll ever admit out loud.
You make me feel like I don’t have to fight so damn hard just to exist. Like I can lower my blade for a minute and still be safe. That’s rare. Don’t waste it on people who won’t see it for what it is.
I don’t always show it. Hell, I barely say it. But I trust you. More than I trust most. And I care. Even if I pretend I don’t know how to.
So, thank you. For patchin’ me up when I bleed, for laughin’ at my worst jokes, for seeing through all the armour I wrap myself in. And maybe that’s what scares me the most, ‘cause you didn’t run. You stayed.
Just don’t go forgetting who you are in all this. You’re strong in your own right. Brighter than you know. And if anyone ever forgets that? I’ll remind ‘em with my sword if I have to.
Stay safe. Stay weird. And don’t wait up. Maybe leave the light on, just in case.
P.S. If you tell anyone I wrote this, I will deny everything and blame you for emotional blackmail. Just sayin’.
Nix read the letter to themselves a few times, making sure nothing was overlooked. Nothing missed. Understanding what was clearly Shura the best they could. It was a truly honest letter from the heart, sharing how she felt to the best of her abilities. The silverette was someone she could depend on and feel safe around. That alone was wonderful to hear.
"Don't worry, Shura.. No one will see this letter but me. Though I can't make any promises about staying safe. I do have students to look after and protect.. but I will keep a light on for you."

The evening sun cast a golden glow over the academy grounds, but Shura hardly noticed. She leaned back in her chair, feet propped up on the desk in her makeshift office, a half-empty bottle of sake clutched loosely in one hand. The day had been long, even by her standards, and she could feel the familiar itch of restlessness creeping in. "Man, paperwork is a pain in the ass," she muttered to no one in particular, eyes flicking toward the scattered piles of unfinished forms that were threatening to spill off her desk. She sighed, taking a swig from the bottle, the burn of alcohol doing little to ease her mood. Just then, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching her door. Instinctively, her hand shifted toward the hilt of her sword, her eyes narrowing slightly. "If this is another lecture from Mephisto, I'm gonna lose it," she grumbled under her breath. The door creaked open, and Shura cocked her head lazily toward the entrance. "Well, come on in, then. Hope yer not here to add to my workload," she called out, her tone somewhere between playful and dangerous, her sharp eyes locking onto whoever dared to disturb her peace.
She would see a familiar bucket hat appearing in the half open door before Lewin poked his head through the opening, looking to her. His ever-observant eyes immediately caught the hand resting on her sword and he gave her a wide grin.
"Ay, don't chop my head off!" he laughed, quickly stepping through the rest of the way. "I come in peace. Just wanted to see if ya wanted to go to the bar." A glance at what was in her hand had him continue. "But I see you already started."
Lightning walked over, plopping down in an empty chair on the other side of the desk and held out his hand in a hope that she'd share the sake. He had come all this way after all!

‘‘I’m very sorry, miss Kirigakure, I’m afraid I can’t do anything to take this force away. However, it is not the end of the world. A force like this cannot exist forever, it will fade eventually. Until it does, we are just going to have to learn to live with it.’’ He spoke, sitting at his desk.
‘‘I am not even sure what demon caused this, but we are going to have to be careful for now. We never know if they may strike again. Although that would be stupid, considering we are currently never alone.’‘
