This is a simple and tasty Instant Pot recipe for sweet soy-glazed chicken thighs. The flavors go well together. The pressure cooker makes sure that the food is tender and tasty in a lot less time.
Ingredients: 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, grated. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1/2 cup chicken broth. 2 green onions, chopped for garnish. Sesame seeds for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade. Place chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or a bowl, pour half of the marinade over them, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Set Instant Pot to saut mode. Remove chicken from the marinade and sear on each side for 2-3 minutes until browned. Add the remaining marinade and chicken broth to the Instant Pot. Close the lid, set to high pressure, and cook for 12 minutes. Once done, perform a quick pressure release. Carefully open the lid. Optional: Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and broil for a few minutes for a crispy skin. Serve the chicken thighs over rice, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
