Maybe sunlight doesn't bother them nearly enough

Maybe they see in the dark a little too well

Maybe they are a little too in sync sometimes

Maybe they are too close to being perfect soldiers

Okay but how big a city needs to be to have an Institute? Like known Institutes are always in huge cities like my whole goddamn country would have 1? Institute?? 2??? maybe?? How the poor Shadowhunters would get on the other side of the country to kill demons??? Like what would sensors evem work that far like jeez man there is a demon on the other side of the country let me buy dem train tickets we'll be there in 10 hours if we are lucky

Also goddamned New York and LA and London etc. has 1 institute? And like 4 and a cat live there, like yes they can call for back-up but have they ever actually called for help??? How often do demons appear? I have so many questions
