Oh my gosh!!!! I feel so amazing today!!!! Apparently the summer did more of a number on me than I anticipated!! Wow!! Today was absolutely amazing!!! I got to see my new and old friends at work all day! I saw so many friends while volunteering right after that. And then going to help instruct our new boxing program tonight, I realized that not only had I missed boxing and exercising, but I had also missed trying to empower women through exercise and encouragement. I am so thankful for today, a day which breathed life back into me. Onto classes tomorrow! :)

INSTRUCTOR @ Wed, 8:00AM: Hi student, I can meet with you at 4:30PM this Thursday. Let me know if that works for you. ...........I felt blindsided last night. I felt so bad, I actually spent a good 15 minutes searching through our email thread and the rest of my inbox/spam/junk to see if I missed this student asking to meet with me on Thursday at 4:00pm, could not find it, and wondered if I was going mad.
All I can say now is: undergrads, please don’t do this to your instructors. Treat them with respect, understand that they have a life outside of teaching, and approach them to address an issue, instead of just dropping out. I get it; some instructors are genuinely cold and/or nasty! But talk to them in person and find out if that really is the case, before you make any snap judgments. :<
