Sigil Magic

Symbols are the language of our subconscious mind. They have great magical power and are used in many rituals. A sigil is a coded image of our desire, embedded in the subconscious. By creating a sigil, we give our desire a certain structure, charge it with power — and start the fulfillment process.

Seance of Magic:

There are literally dozens of traditional ways to practice sigil magic now, and anyone can easily come up with another dozen symbols. Come to think of it — absolutely each one of them will work!

The main thing is to follow four simple rules in the process of this fun magic:

✶ First, you know exactly what you want.

✶ Second, you assert your will to get it, focusing as hard as you can on the result you want.

✶ Third, you create a magical seal that will do just that.

✶ And last (but not least!) is you must keep silent about what you have desired.

Enchanting:

✶ First of all, you should define your wish. It should be very clear and be contained in a single brief sentence. You must present it so vividly, as if it were not a wish, but a specific intention.

✶ Next, you should create a sigil. It can be a monogram or a mantra that you create on your own.

To create a monogram, write down the wish, remove all the repeating letters and make any figure out of those remaining: the letters can be inscribed into one another, placed on top of each other, or add pictures to them. Remember that this is your magical seal and you are free to do whatever you want while creating it.

✶ A mantra is created in the same way, only the remaining letters are transformed into a meaningless phrase or word that you chant throughout the day.

✶ Once your sigil has been ready, it must be charged. This can be achieved through meditation (detachment from the wish) or visualization (maximum focus on the wish).

✶ The process starts! After performing the ritual, it is necessary to pull away from your desire, to forget about it for a while. In order to do so, the most common practice is to use laughter — get distracted with a joke or watch a comedy.

Useful Tips:

✶ If you wish for something lasting and as a rule intangible, such as self-confidence or health, it is better to put the sigil in a place that you can easily observe. Where your wish comes into your life once (a new car, job promotion), after visualization you should hide the sigil and try to forget about the wish for a long time.

✶ You can practice making sigils and supplementing or transforming them as you specify your wish.

✶ You can also include your loved ones in this practice and share the symbols you have created without revealing their meaning. Since you receive a useless symbol this way, forgetting about it (thereby kick starting its implementation program) will be easier.

✶ To improve the result, we recommend adding the symbol of the respective planet to your sigils:

Mental Strengthening Spell

A spell to control your mind and strengthen will by entering a state on meditation even through casting other spells.

Find a quiet space, alone, preferably in dim or dark lighting.

Sit down with your legs and back straight but relaxed, and your palms resting on the surface next to your legs (thumbs against your legs).

Focus your eyes on the ground approximately 2 feet in front of you, and then let your gaze slack as though you were getting sleepy.

Think about the movement of blood through your body, think about the feeling in the very tips of your fingers and toes, how you are one body and one being. Think about your physical and mental strength, then go into meditation until you feel as though you're calm and secure in yourself (reference zazen meditation techniques if you can't find the right state of mind).

Once you are secure in yourself, feel the air around you, and think of the power in the physical world: the space beneath you, the thrum of the earth, any sound surrounding you. Then consider what part you have in it all, whether or not you can use those feeling to stregthen your will.

Picture the feeling from step 4 of your own body, and name that your 'will'. It is your own power and intention which allows you to cast your spells.

Think of your will growing outside of your body, surrounding you, no longer fitting your limbs, but around you, bigger than yourself. Your will grows off the air, grows off the earth's hum, and intermingles with the natural auras until you have a bubble of will and personal strength around you.

Pull the grown will back inside of you. Focus again on your limbs and physical form, and fill yourself with the now grown power. May feel like you're giddy or ambitious.

Enter a state of meditation again. Feel your grown strength, relax your muscles, and find mental peace through whatever emotions rose in step 8. Let your mind feel slack, as though you're sleepy again. (Essentially like you're hypnotizing yourself).

Slowly raise your dominant hand from your side with palm downward, as high as you can, tensing your arm muscle (like a spring) and thrust the arm back down to hit the surface with your palm. As you do so, say with conviction "I am now completely in control of myself and my destiny!". Repeat if you don't feel convinced of yourself. Through this, try to maintain some of the hypnotic state.

Immediately after, cast your main intention. Good intentions e.g. throw your hands to your shoulders and state "I am calm, my presence is concealed"; touch the surface of a door and state "only good may pass through here"; touch your head and state "I am confident in my success".

Continue to cast whatever other spells you choose. The more you practice this spell, the better you'll get at maintaining the meditative state and empowered mindset that will allow you to cast stronger magic. Make a practice of doing this process before any other practice, or do daily for general self improvement.

First, combine the ingredients. Next, anoint the candles. After anointing the candles, write the names of those who caused you harm on a piece of paper. Write "Face Yourself!" with an X under it, and rub hot sauce on the X. At the end of the ritual, burn the paper. Recite your intention and affirmations over the spell, + burn the bay leaves.

Optional Steps You Can Incorporate: Listening to music in the background. I was playing "Moral Conscience" by Kali Uchis, among other songs. However, you can play anything that resonates with you the most. 🙏🏿

My husband gave me a new table easel with drawers for Christmas . So I’m using it to paint the rough drafts of what will become my painted spells . They’ll include various oils and herbs mixed in to the paint as well as a sigil filled with intention .

Baby protection blanket

This is an intention based spell I started using for my close friends that are pregnant (makes a great baby gift).

Crochet a baby blanket using whatever stitch you prefer (I use single stitch because it's easy, involves a lot more stitches, and I can reserve my focus to the spell rather than counting). Name each and every stitch with the first word that comes to mind, such as "love, protection, warmth, care, gentlene, happy, free, wisdom" (repeating words is okay, you can name them out loud or silently, as focus and intention is the key).

Only work on the blanket when you're capable of a positive mood or hopefulness (the recent one I completed was finished while watching the Kavanaugh sessions, but I started naming stitches like "strength, power, individuality, empathy", maintaining hope in the baby girl's future, and I set it down when I started to lose focus). If you start to lose hope or can't properly feel the emotions you're trying to cast, your intentions might not come through.

The colors and material you choose are up to you (esp considering if the mom has a slight wool allergy, the baby may have it as well... and wool yarn is spendy). I choose soft, gender-neutral colors. While babies prefer brighter, intense colors (because they're relatively color blind through the first year of their life as they grow, bright red is the first color they see), it's good to consider whether it'll be cherished later in life as well, and whether it'll keep them from sleeping (if they're excited by the blanket, they'll be less sleepy).

You can add a numbered pattern significant to your practice or superstition. I.e. I had 7 sets of stripes.

Once the main blanket is done, stitch around the blanket twice, naming each stitch "protection" or chanting "the intended owner of this blanket shall not be harmed" or something similar. Keep the intended baby in mind, and wish for them to have peace and feel love. After at least 2 rounds (I prefer even numbers, and more rounds can tend to warp the shape hand -crocheted projects) tie the last stitch of really well and picture a closing circle (if you can, I know not everybody can make images in their head, and that's okay. The intention here is to close off the spell so nothing can 'unravel' the blanket).

If you used acrylic yarn, you should put it in a softener bath. Get the blanket wet, fold the blanket up, put it in a gallon freezer bag or a plastic bin, and pour in dye and perfume free fabric softener (add a little water to the mix if you don't want to use a ton of softener). Cover it up or close the bag and let it soak for a day or two to soften up the fibers. This has nothing to do with the spell, it just softens up the rougher acrylics and makes the blanket less rigid.

Finally, wash the blanket (esp if you have pets or smoke; you might even consider washing it in a friend's house that's smoke and pet free for the baby's health). Crochet projects should always be gentle washed on cold, and hung dried or tumble dried in a knit bag. Again, washing doesn't really have part in the spell, but it IS a baby blanket, and a lot of yarns are unwashed.

This spell takes a LONG time and a lot of focus, especially if you're newer to crocheting, but it's the effort that makes it more powerful. The blanket should act as a barrier from harm as well as a blessing. Example shown below (pre-softener bath, which is why it's more rigid and curls up)

You don't have to mention the spell to the parents if they're close minded, as the intended owner of the blanket is the baby. To anybody else, it's just a blanket.
