Weak. Insincere. Unreliable. Arrogant. Selfish! Yup, that's what I felt I'll be judged as if I created firm boundaries with people. I was always afraid of offending someone if I said NO. So there were times in my life, when I carried on dealing with my boundaries being violated time and again. It was destroying me. I lived in constant frustration and overwhelm. I pretty much told myself that I just cannot do anything right - this coming from the same ME, who was once a pioneer in many things, winning and rising non-stop for more than a decade and unafraid of anyone or anything. But somewhere along the lines, I stopped being that performer, direct, fearless person. That's what happens when we do not communicate our boundaries.
