Some of us are chatty, transparent, enthusiastic, involved beings and treat others with the warmth we like to be treated with. It is just who we are, it is how we have been raised – to be kind, fun, nice to others because it is NICE to be NICE without a hidden agenda or ulterior motive. Some people do not understand that. They are used to interacting with a motive, an agenda. They only reach out to others when they need something, when you can be of ‘benefit’ to them. They do not know any other way or reason why to interact with others without ‘a value attached’ to the transaction… err I mean interaction. These people expect the same ‘motives’ from you. Their suspicion, guardedness, coldness (in anticipation of ‘this person wants something from me, or else why would they be nice to me without a reason?’) is THEIR problem, not yours. You keep being Unafraid, Unashamed, Unapologetically YOU.
