Thinking about immortal Marisette raising Valjean over and over again and I'm close to crying haha–
Marisette somehow became immortal and before Valjean died Cosette knew of his story and sobbed and swore that if they ever met again in another life she would take care of him and love him like he did her... And she did. Over and over again.
In hard times tho she still yearned for her father's touch but still she and Marius looked for Valjean in every single one of his future life times, making sure he was loved like he loved them. Unconditionally.
