Omen and Star are apart of the World Preservation organization Interspace, which is known as the last beacon of humanity in their post apocalyptic world!!

Their unit, Group 0NE (previously known as ZERO) was sort of the organizations beta testing group, composed of five members; Omen, Phase, Stitch, Nightowl, and their leader, Riddle!

Stitch, their hacker, has a small relationship chart if you’d like an idea of their members even outside the first group!

The planet Earth is in the 2800s, where the air and sea has polluted to a point where a mechanical organ known as "Cores" had to be invented. Cores are implanted at birth, and link to all major organs through blood and veins. They take the shape of an orb outside of the skin, and can be kept anywhere on your person after reaching the age of Ten.

These Cores keep humans alive against the dangerous environment, serving as a built in immune booster and healing regimen. Thanks to Cores, humanity is still able to thrive and live full lives.

A great catastrophe hit the technology of Cores, a bug in the system that was hacked by a villainous organization known as AGONI, to which gave them the ability to render humans as mind-controlled zombies, by finding the link between the brain and core.

Yet, as Interspace founded its safe dome, everyone soon came to discover there was one group of people immune to control.

Kids and Teenagers. With no fully developed brain, the link between the core and mind is far too thin to take control of without cutting off the link completely. No matter how cruel, if they wanted to ever leave the confines of Interspace again, they’d need to send child soldiers to complete that goal.

That is where the defensive unit comes in!! Deprived of a Computer Specialist, Mechanical Specialist, 3 Front-Lines Soldiers, and One Supportive Soldiers— these groups could, in theory, save our world.

So how did Star come in?

Star, unlike most of humanity, refused to find sanctuary in Interspace, and instead stayed within the dangerous polluted city, exactly the one Team 0NE was investigating. Omen preferred doing his work in the darkest hours, keeping a secret of being not from Earth at all from his teammates.

He had crashed on Earths’ plains, and was rescued by the leaders of Interspace and nursed back to health despite being far too tall for any of their supplies. Feeling protective over the small people that decided to save him, he promised to do whatever he could to protect whatever of their world they had left.

This led him to be gifted a wristband by their Mechanics Specialist, Riddle, one that could alter his stature to that of a regular human being. On one of his outings as dutiful member of Team 0NE, he encountered Star, working as some sort of reckless vigilante.

She ran away whenever he spotted her, and for months, thats how they continued to run into one another. At some point, Omen was able to finally catch her, and after getting over her initial fear— they began to do their rounds together.

Omen wanted to help her, and despite her stubborn protests, she agreed to join Interspace under one condition, she could stay by Omen’s side.

Luckily, she was the perfect person to fill the spot of their 6th member, and Star joined their ranks.

Her and Omen bicker and argue like any siblings would, yet value and trust eachother with far more than eachothers lives <3 I love them so much

Two little roads. Both of them are leads to autumn. But very different. From one side little roads of – made of little stones. And so, summer. Well, almost. And near it is a little road with little raining and already a big amount of autumn leaves. Autumn – it is like portals to different states.

Autumn it is so strange transition state. And includes in itself lots of different states. Portals to another moods. Left and right. Two little roads. It is very good illustration! How different can be autumn! Even at the same one single day! Just go a little aside and there autumn already looks another!

Autumn - it is a time for interspace travel. Best time for synchronicity of such moments. Autumn that’s why is so different and various. So full of colors. Because of it takes a start from a different planes-spaces. Each space has something itself specific. And it is in result a orange yellow rainy autumn mix. A combination. And autumn – it is also a stable event! What a discovery here it is made, just now!

So what little road will u select? Who knows what will wait you there and what discoveries of autumn will you make for yourself?

Lighting

Hi, welcome to my devblog for Interspace! Interspace is a game inspired by Terraria and Starbound where you play as an alien struggling against the Galactic Federation and the environment, but we're not to that point yet. I want the lighting for Interspace to be sort of dramatic and reflect the danger you're in (and also look pretty), so in it's work in progress state, it looks like THIS!

Lorelai was a loner, Kieran had deduced. She spent her free time alone, wandering the Interspace.

She hadn't been friendly towards Kieran since she'd come here. She was harsh, cold, always serious. Kieran watched her regularly and it made her sad. She never smiled, never laughed. She reminded Kieran of home, of earth. The insurmountable weight on her shoulders, the brooding darkness that colored her every movement. Kieran knew it all so well.

One day, Kieran dared to be brave. She walked up to Lorelai, quiet at first. Lorelai skimmed over her with her cool gray eyes, then returned her gaze to the swirling heavens before her.

"How did you get here?" asked Kieran.

Lorelai quirked an eyebrow, turning to her. "The same way you did," she replied absently.

"But," Kieran persisted. "How did you end up in your position? Overseeing newbies like me?"

Kieran thought she saw the ghost of a smile, but it vanished so quickly she doubted it was even real.

"Time, mostly," she replied.

"How long have you been here?"

Lorelai glanced at her. She seemed different than the others who had passed through her tutelage. Lorelai wasn't used to someone taking an interest in her, and she wasn't sure how to navigate it.

"Centuries," she answered. "I suppose. Maybe longer. Time isn't really important once everyone you've known has already passed through."

"Oh," said Kieran softly. She saw a sadness in her eyes that made her want to reach out to her, to hold her.

"Excuse me," said Lorelai, turning away from Kieran. The tender throbbing in her chest was unexpected, she'd almost forgotten what it was like to feel. Yet something about this young human had brought it back to the forefront, pulling at her composure.

the thing that hurts about watching spock almost definitely walk into a situation thats gonna make him uncomfortable is bc it’s so AVOIDABLE. it’s part of the whole “consent isn’t sexy” culture that says being spontaneously/surprisingly sexual is flattering and good and romantic and like. maybe if the people involved have agreed to what kind of spontaneous/surprising sexual behavior is OK in advance then it’s OK but clearly that’s now what’s happening here. I would flip the fuck out if something similar happened to me.
