Its worth noting that while i still don’t personally feel greyromantic as a label, i do feel greyromantic as a community. im glad that they exist and we were able to grow alongside eachother.

i wish to express that its hard out here to find content for romance favorable aros / partnering aros / specific identities because at this point a lot of the things in the tags are like. asks into blogs that do flag recolors/ flag collections, or theyre expressing that Not Everyone is partnering/favorable (etc).
the winds are changing, and im so happy for never romo aros, for loveless aros, but alas. for our little romo aro communities, it is disappointing.
i am thinking about my history in this community and how far it is come but also i am sad, looking back at where it was even just a few years ago. its changed so much and for the better but it truly is . sad. i miss how excited i was and how easy it was to gain popularity for terms, but like. i remember how i was treated by ar0s and all0ar0s for my identities. romo ar0 wasnt a thing. neu ar0 wasnt a thing. and lots of communities reacted poorly to it. a lot. a lot reacted poorly. it was… really disappointing. i remember hearing about discord servers -*joining* discord servers, that in part existed to , in part, discourse on these terms. to be critical and talk shit about them. calling them ar0phobic. im so happy ar0mid was able to be c0ined and gain so much popularity because. it was really hard for me to even get that far. and it shows how much the community has grown and changed but. *gd* it makes me sad rn, to remember. it was a really hard really long uphill battle to even get recognized this much and we’re still half forgotten and i had such a hard time getting into the ar0 community. im glad y’all are having an easier time. im glad by every positive story you have on how you felt finding my labels and how you felt joining the ar0 community and how welcomed you felt.
i… if anyone has any stories on how they found the terms/how they made you feel/your experience joining the community id really appreciate it.
thanks, y’all. and sorry for the heavy post. you guys have made a world of a difference from when i first joined. 🙂
see you
i miss community interactions and community conversations. the culture here has shifted a lot but i still strongly suggest having full conversations and interactions and commenting on posts and including your experiences and opinions and other terms and communities.
