You know what’s one of my biggest pet peeves? The double standard people have when it comes to shipping aroace characters.

People will make excuses for it like “aroace is a spectrum” and “aroace people can still date”

And while that’s all true

I especially find it funny that if you used those same exact excuses for shipping, let’s say, a gay man and with a woman or vice versa, then suddenly you’re “erasing their sexuality”

are friend crushes a thing? i know they are in the sense of "oh i want to be friends with them " but what if youre already friends?? like you giggle and kick ur feet thinking abt them and smile and want them to be happy so much and love hugging them n it sounds weird bur cuddling w them but u dont get butterflies or imagine dating them or kissing or get blushy crushy or get nervous and giggly or whatever. please help
