Ok so I haven't written any blogs, and I don't have any followers, but I've always wanted to write a blog. I eventually want to make my own website and be a self sufficient blogger but for now I think tumblr is a good place to start. I think I'll blog about anything that interests me, which means books, art, listening to music, being alone, and sleeping and stuff. If anyone has any advice for me that would be brill but like, people have to actually see this post first.

Speaking as a lifelong introvert - Pro tip: the most successful introvert around you will be the one that chooses the people around them. It just evokes more confidence and validation.

It hurts when people don't understand you for being an introvert. They don't understand why you have to take time to breathe and just be in your space to recharge after a long day of work and being in a crowd. It hurts when your own mom thinks that you're prioritizing her the least because you don't/can't attend to her needs because you're busy attending to your own needs - recharging. Ansaket e. Hindi ba niya maappreciate na kahit inaantok ako at kahit dis oras na ng gabi hinihilot ko pa din siya? Oo, aminado ako, last itinerary ko for the day palagi ang hilutin siya. Why? Because I'm tired from work and most of the time, late na akong nakakauwi. Kahit sino naman siguro, pag-uwi ng bahay ang gusto magpahinga diba? 'Can't I take a breather naman before ko siya hilutin? It's not an easy job to give massages - like everyday. Hindi ba niya naappreciate ginagawa ko? I know I'm at fault at making her feel like she has to beg for me to massage her. Sa totoo lang nagi-guilty ako and I honestly feel like crying right now. And I know the way I spoke to her hurted her too. Pero bakit ba kasi ang close-minded niya like sa halos lahat ng bagay na hindi niya ako maintindihan. Pagdating ng bahay gusto masahe kaagad? She could've stayed silent and let me finish massaging her kahit na nakapikit na mata ko sa antok. Hindi yung sasabihan pa ako na "Kung kanina mo pa kasi sana ako hinilot..." like pwedeng huminga muna? Tapos isusumbat pa saken na naghappy-happy lang naman daw ako sa Christmas Party like pano ako napagod dun? Oo, Christmas Party pinanggalingan ko pero kami punong abala sa party, hindi ba pwedeng mapagod dahil don? Nakakadrain ng lakas makihalubilo sa mga tao.

It's always difficult to explain and defend the tiredness of an introvert. And most of the time, it is being invalidated.

I recently finished watching both series of #Fleabag. I wanted more. This is one of those shows that I will never get tired of watching. We all have this facade that the world sees but the real us is kept hidden because we know that we will scare people away when they see how vulnerable we are irl.
