There needs to be an equivalent to "bless you" for when someone farts. I don't know what it should be in English (God bless your ass?), but I am absolutely positive that the Germans can come up with the perfect word.

Shifting from topic to topic, with few connections, is one of several disjointed and occasionally incoherent verbal habits that seem to have
"Trump’s levels of complexity have always been unmistakably low, said Pennebaker. Whereas most presidential candidates are in the 60 to 70 range, Trump’s speeches range from 10 to 24...
" 'We’re also going to place strong protections to stop banks and regulators from trying to debank you from your political beliefs,” Trump said in the New Hampshire speech. “What they do, they want to debank you. And we are going to debank, think of this. They want to take away your rights. They want to take away your country, the things you’re doing. All electric cars. Give me a break. If you want an electric car, good. But they don’t go far. They’re very expensive.' ”
tl;dr: He's not okay and he's getting worse.
thought of a new microlabel:
polyfailure

I invented a word, because I don't think I've ever head this one before.
I have my categories of stuff. Yours are cool too but I really like my stuff, it's not personal. I noticed a category that I didn't have a good word for exactly what they all do that doesn't exclude at least one of them.
In my second drawer of my rolling shelf I put my general sewing shit. Sewing holds stuff together, you know what else does? Glue. Great they can be friends. Stapler + staples? Yea alright. Tapes, now its a party. And rubber bands hold the whole world together.
My first thought was fasteners. Which would be alright in gilligan land, because that dude uses language really different. But here in... also gilligan land but you're here too, a fastener is already a kind of thing + doesn't fit right inside this category, I feel (out here.)
Adherents was one Kathy came up with after the fact. I thought long and hard about just what these things do in particular. They hold shit together. They fix my shit. They fix my shit by FIXING my shit!
Fixants. Your welcome, English speakers everywhere. Don't tell me this is already a word or that there's a better one; don't care and you're salty.
The amount of power you hold as a writer is truly unmatched, God wishes he could jus invent one-off words to use because you can't recall any other words that invoke that same image you want to invoke in that scene .
Statistical coincidences- the term given to ideas about other experiences you share with humans. Like what if I'm listening to the same song and reading the book as someone else in the world, at this moment? Or what if I'm the only person on earth having this experience right now?
What if you had a dream about a person and wake up to remember they're not real, and a stranger of their description had a similar dream about someone like you?
The word for this is nexuscollision from latin for connection, nexus and collision.
Since learning about Ace and Aro orientations a few years ago (in my 50s)
I’ve looked back over my adolescent and young adult life, and realized that:
One:
I have, in fact, been in love before, and deeply so, more than once (it’s just that the love was squishy, without the expected romantic or sexual feelings). And
Two:
I’ve (maybe?) fallen in love with people from all over the gender map (none of those people are in my life at the moment, so I can’t ask any of them about their gender identity; but some were afab, some were amab, and if I crossed paths with any of them again, and they told me they were actually enby, or gender fluid, I would not be surprised in the least).
Therefore:
I consider myself Aro-Ace and Pan-something-or-other (but Not pansexual or panromantic). And over the last couple of years, ever since I’ve had this realization, I’ve been puzzling over the appropriate descriptor to tag on to “Pan.”
And I think it came to me this morning (21/04/21): “-pathic,” from the ancient Greek for “suffering” or “feeling;” it’s the suffix in words like “empathy” (the ability to imagine yourself in another person’s place, and feel the same pain they do), and “telepathy” (to feel what someone else is feeling, from a distance). So “Panpathic” would mean: “The ability to form an emotional bond with all genders.”
Does that ring true for anyone else?
Fershiness
“I don’t know what you just said….but you’re fershy…” Fershy (FIR-SH-EE), or Fershie (FIR-SHEE): Something or someone that is nonsensical, wrong, or bad but not considered unlikely and or preventable.A complete disregard for others in a polite, filtered and or couth-like manner. An event that does not sound appealing.Something labeled as false and or questionable information. An all-encompassing…
