INVICTUS
Thomas Walker was possessed by a beetle demon when he was young--though to him this was just a blip in his life. He is an orphan aged out of the foster system. He lives on the streets, on the sidelines of society. All he desires is love. But when he shows his abilities for good, the darkness also limits him--by residing within the minds and hearts of those who are afraid of him. Though befriended by many, he is still alone.
That is, until he meets a group of people his age with the same issues.
The world has demons and magical beings, and humans are expected to never come into contact with them. Though possession is uncommon, people interacting with magic and the dark arts is considered a heretic. Even when caused by accident, those who live by its hands are cursed until death...
INVICTUS is a story of young adults searching for acceptance in a world where they are called “freaks”. Thomas and his friends have to battle demons, prejudices, and each other.
