(Inter)National Coming Out Day

Hey, Tumblr family! If you are planning on coming out today (or really any day) I wanted to remind you that my asks and messages are always open! It took me until the past 2 or so years to really come to terms with my own queer identity. There was a lot of faith-based self hate, some terror, and then general feelings like I was an imposter in the LGBT+ community to begin with. So I’m coming out to you all again today, and if you want a queer older (or younger) sister, then hit me up! 

I am a bisexual cis woman married to a “straight” gender queer man, and I’m now exploring a new aspect of my identity in polyamory. I am the poster child of apparent heteronormativity and can easily slip under the queer-dar, and that’s a privilege I struggle with regularly. So here’s to another year of me figuring out more about myself, and I hope you (queer or not) get to learn more about yourself, too!

Since it's Pride Month, I thought I'd remind y'all that I'm a very proud man AND lady (and every shade in between)-loving lady. Bisexuality often becomes invisible when in an apparent heterosexual relationship, but it doesn't change the facts! Much love to the community this month - don't let the stupid take you down. It's getting scarier again, but we are still free to be and love as we please.
