Oaxacan scientist, Dr. Eva Ramón Gallegos, has made a significant breakthrough in medicine by completely eliminating the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) in 29 patients using an innovative technique.

This remarkable achievement marks a significant advancement in the fight against cervical cancer.

Mexican scientist Eva Ramón Gallegos implemented an innovative technique known as photodynamic therapy, a non-invasive treatment that could become an effective method to prevent this disease.

It should be noted that the photodynamic therapy implemented by the researcher is not solely directed against HPV, but it is also usable for eliminating premalignant lesions at very early stages, even before they evolve into invasive cancer.

Mexican Pride 

Eva Ramón Gallegos is a researcher at the National School of Biological Sciences at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) where she presented the results of this pilot study. It involves applying a drug called delta-aminolevulinic acid to the cervix, which converts into protoporphyrin, a fluorescent substance that accumulates in damaged cells to eliminate them with a special laser, without the risk of destroying healthy cells around them.

According to the first phase of the study, HPV was eliminated in 85% of patients who had the virus without lesions, and there was an 85% efficacy in patients with HPV and premalignant lesions.

In a second phase, the Human Papillomavirus was eliminated in 100% of patients without lesions, and reduced by 64.3% in those with premalignant lesions. Patients who did have lesions but no HPV showed a treatment effectiveness of 57.2%.

“Unlike other conventional treatments, this technique only eliminates damaged cells and does not affect healthy structures,” she emphasized.

i just ran three different Drag Race simulators for vtubers (hololive, nijisanji, various indie vtubers) and the results are. there was a lot happening.

On the Hololive side, Roberu kept fucking sweeping everything and then got third after being unceremoniously eliminated. Meaning that the finale was between Temma and Regis, which Regis won, but it SHOULD be noted that until this moment, Temma never lip synched the whole entire season.

The Nijisanji side was chaotic as hell. Somehow Lauren Iroas got third despite getting sent to elimination FOUR TIMES. Nagao Kei (who got second) was in every single Untucked episode and made out with Bonnivier (who was previously established to have hooked up with Ryushen). When asked who he would send home, Kanae tried to vote for Aster despite the fact that Aster had already been sent home by that point, and later, no one voted for Kanae for Miss Congeniality, not even Kuzuha (Chronoir in shambles). Suha only went to elimination once: in week 2, when he sent home Uki. He then proceeded to utterly decimate the whole competition.

In the Indie bracket, iPN got sent home first, which wouldn’t be that surprising, but you have to understand that i accidentally aborted my original attempt, which iPN ALSO lost. Somehow Nux Taku got to fourth place despite literally everyone’s attempts to kill him. Cy Yu and Saka got sent home at the same time, and then they voted to bring back a contestant... and it was a tie between Cy Yu and Saka. Which Cy Yu won (he also got Miss Congeniality). Shxtou got to sixth place despite having a better track record than both Nux AND rpr (who was also here). OH RIGHT also Nux took down Khyo in a lip synch, but was only up for elimination in the first place because he nominated himself. AND THEN the Untucked revealed that Nux was in a conspiracy to send the losing queen (Khyo) home, which means that Nux SELF-SABOTAGED HIMSELF to take out Khyo.

Anyways I’m gonna be running an All Stars season because this shit is so fucking funny.
