“So what I wanna know, is why do they say ‘it’s raining cats and dogs,’ but not that it’s snowing polar bears and penguins?” she began he show. It was classic Boxx humor: unmistakable. As she continued her set, someone in the room laughed and applauded throughout. And not in the uncomfortable way people normally do because they feel obligated or just think it’s so bad that it’s funny- someone seemed genuinely amused. Her thirty minutes probably went by very slowly for most of the audience, but for her it flew by. She tossed some glitter in the air for a big finish; the people in the front likely appreciated that greatly. Once it was done, she left the stage to staggered, mandatory applause and headed to the bar and ordered a drink to sit and watch the next performer.
