Devotional Acts for Iris

Make an uplifting playlist and listen to it every morning to put you in a good mood.

Send more letters! Save the postal system! And make your loved ones smile when receiving a fun letter!

Turn your favourite little trinkets into earrings, bracelet charms or necklace pieces.

Put light-reflecting crystals near your windows, so your room will be filled with Iris' presence

Go to a flower shop and buy every colour to make a colour wheel or a rainbow bouquet.

Add a few sprinkles to your coffee.

Use fancy glasses and dinnerware for the most basic of meals

Have a "lucky" object: jewellery, a piece of clothing, a mug or a pen. Something that you can have with you.

The next time you see a rainbow, let it be a moment for you to slow down and enjoy the moment without any distractions.

Let your stuffed animals back in your bed! They want to have a good night's sleep too!

Subtle ways to honor Iris 🌈🪽

- Text your friends

- deliver messages between loved ones when you are needed to

- run errands for yourself or your family if you need to

- be respectful of postal workers

- be a good communicator

- admire the clouds

- embrace the rain

- enjoy opening packages you’ve been awaiting

- support the mail services in your elections

- admire the rainbow

- admire iridescence and things of an iridescent nature

- wear or admire jewelry that features rainbow stones like opal, tourmaline, or chalcopyrite

- admire all the colors and find what each one means to you

- honor and respect Hera

- admire tropical fish at the aquarium

- learn color theory

- don’t rush yourself

- don’t rush others

- color or paint with a pallete you aren’t used to

- paint or draw in general

If you have any others, let me know! I’m new to Iris, and I know that all though she doesn’t have a whole lot of lore in greek mythological canon, she has a large number of devotees! Let me know some more ways to honor her! 🌈❤️

I made an altar!

I mean,I know it's not Much buy it's a start? I hope lady Iris appreciates it. I offered the stuff you see there but I wish I could give her more. Time will tell. Now I have to document myself on how to communicate with lady Iris. I'm so happy though.

Also I managed to do that Butterfly 3d puzzle you see on the right and painted the rainbow! Crafts&co is pretty cool!

dancing across a blanket of blue

splashes of pink and gold and purple mark your steps

your feet touch down and paint the clouds

you twirl, you laugh, you jump and glide

in an arch, a trail of light you form

as the rain trickles to a halt

and the grass is covered in droplets

and puddles on the concrete display your reflection

we cannot stop looking--all in awe of you

who gets so little glory, silent and humble

know that I look at the sky every day

and I see you.
