I know it's been mentioned before that Iris could be considered The Goddess Of The Gays (tm) because.. rainbows? 🌈 🏳️‍🌈

And idk if there is any kind of mythos or cult belief to support this but since she is the goddess of the rainbow and the rainbow is a spectrum of color.. could she also be a goddess of those who fall somewhere on the autism spectrum?

Might be a bit of a reach but I like to think of her as a deity that is associated with uniqueness and sort of letting your own light shine bright.

(This is all coming to me at 3am while im realizing that she's been tossing signs at me like crazy for awhile now and at the same time in the last few months I've also been slowly coming to the conclusion that I'm most likely autistic. So.. could just be me. But I think I'm gonna go ahead and claim this upg)

Discovering Iris

I've recently discovered that Lady Iris is a Goddess of the sea, sky and rainbows. She is also a messenger! These things really resonate with me and it's pretty cool.

When I was first searching for deities, I looked for sky and air deities. And then ocean because I saw a lot ocean imagery. Recently Ive been seeing rainbows
