Over 4000 Irish women a year travel out of the country to get an abortion (mainly to the UK)

In 2018, there will be a referendum to repeal the 8th amendment. Currently, abortion is illegal in Ireland and if you get caught, you will be sent to prison for quite a long time (approx. 10 years)
