every now and then, i would be minding my own business and doing my work, when all of a sudden, my mind jump - that, is not unusual, but - it jumps to the sudden memory of the smell of heart and lungs and their texture when i cut them open and sliced the muscular walls into thin strips.

the smell isn't strong but it it is also very pervasive.

kidneys are weirder and worse though, but thankfully i do not get memory jumps on those.
