I was thinking "oh wow, I´m turning 17 in 3 months"
And then I realised the next birthday after 17 is the one when I turn 18, and I feel so weird now.
A little over two weeks til Diakko day and I still hadn’t decided what to do... and then while swamped with studies, I decided to take a 10pm bath.
And behold the wonders of the bathroom gave me the concept I wanted to do the most lmao
carry me
"I'm terrified of you, of loving you so completely cause to love you, maybe one day I should lose you.. and that is one thing I never want to happen, not for the life of me. So, here I sit to the tunes of love music thinking of your beautiful face.. and what it would be like to wake next to your sexy body, the smell of your hair, the soft taste of your lovely lips. Terrified or no, I am pretty sure that I do love you with my soul in tact.. my desire to see you smile, the fire of my warm nights alone, just sitting here in a dark room. The lit stars over my head, and thoughts of you licking the back of my mind, it's 3 again.. and here I sit wide awake."
Her smile sings of sunshine with hair to just match the color, with the name of California trees - eUe..

I recently learned about a beautiful a nuance that’s often overlooked in English translations of the Quran.
Allah (swt) says, “Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned” (19:40).
The Arabic word for “will be returned” here is “yurja’un.”
Except, “will be returned” is future tense. “Yurja’un” is present tense.
So in reality, Allah (swt) is saying that we *are* returning. In the present tense, as we are reading this, we are returning to Him. It’s not some foreign thing that will eventually come about, it’s happening right now.
The same concept applies to the ayah where Allah (swt) says, “Every soul shall taste death” (21:35). The Arabic word translated as "shall taste" is actually in the present tense as well.
So every soul *is* tasting death. Now.
How truthful and fitting these words are. Every single minute that drips by means an invisible force is pushing us closer to our ultimate return. Nothing that has passed will ever come back. A portion of our lives is already gone.
We are all walking or running through graveyards, towards the spots in which we will be buried. We just don’t know it yet.
