Show Shipping Room Podcast, Ep Episode 165: Teen Wolf with Kat Pettibone - May 3, 2021
My Teen Wolf episode with The Shipping Room Podcast is here!
If you want to know my top 10 favorite couples of all time, and hear me attempt to explain six seasons of werewolves, hunters, Kitsune, druids and banshees while also describing the millions of romantic entanglements (canon and non) that go along with the already absurdly complex plot of Teen Wolf to two people who have never seen a SINGLE episode, be sure to check it out!
*Disclaimer* — Teen Wolf fans, please do not come for me! Guesting on a podcast means you aren’t driving the conversation, so I might not have given your fav ship the spotlight it deserved — even Stydia got underserved and they’re MY favorite! Connecting all the dots was a HARD TASK! I did my best though, and had a ton of fun with the challenge, so have a listen, and let me know YOUR favorite ships on Teen Wolf!
(I also found out during this recording there were Matt and Allison shippers? WHO? WHO SHIPS THAT?)
not me falling down a teen wolf rabbit hole only to realise one of my fave Scisaac fics ‘Here and Now’ by Tony Starksicle is gone? At least I think it is
Bit niche but does anyone know?
Mood boards?
Give me Mahealahey, Sciam, Sciles, Stisaac, Scisaac, or Stanny prompts! Non-smut please, and I will try to write them during a workshop.
Are we over now?
Requested by anonymous. Warning: swearing, mention of child abuse? I think that's it. You pace your bedroom while anxiously biting your nails. You really wish it didn't bother you, but oh god it did. Your best friend Isaac had been very distant lately and it worried you to no end. What happened? Did his father really do a number on him this time? He'd been skipping school and nobody will answer the door when you go to check on him. What if he's really hurt? Should you call the cops? No, his father will probably act like Isaac is a run away of it was really serious. You've had enough when you decide to call him one more time. You feel a lump in your throat as each ring drags on. Voicemail. Fuck. You try again, and even a third time before he actually answers. At this point you're ready lose your mind with the anxiety of your friends condition digging its nails into your back. "Hello?" He sounded rushed. "Glad to know you're not dead you ass hole." Your tone was harsh but you have reason. "Stop yelling Jesus y/n." He snaps, leaving you confused. "I'm not yelling, what are you into?" "What? Nothing, look I have to go." "But you haven't talked to me in weeks, can you please spend some time with me? Or are you too busy avoiding reality for friends." You accuse, taking a seat on your bed. "I'll try later, okay?" "Do you not care? Isaac I've been worried sick about you because you dropped off of the face of the earth! I thought your dad did something bad, and I didn't know what to think!" You wipe the tears that gently form. How embarrassing, you think, grabbing a tissue. "What? No I'm fine, great actually, but I'd rather not have this conversation over the phone." "Well when are we going to talk? Are you actually going to show up to school?" You sniffle, trying to hide your cry. "Come outside." You were confused but did as he said. Once outside you see a figure walk up your driveway. "You were that worried about me?" You hear the familiar voice of your best friend get closer. "You'd be worried too if I did that to you, you jerk." You smile slightly, you anger subduing as you go to hug him. "I hate you." You add before playfully punching his arm. He chuckles as heads you to your backyard. You always did this if either of you had a bad night. You both would come outside and lay on your deck, just staring at the sky and talk about anything and everything. You loved moments like this. "I'm sorry. Something happened, and I had to go away for a while... But I'll try my best to stay with you now." He whispers, wrapping an arm around you and starting at the stars. "Where were you? You just left without a trace." "I can't really tell you, but you have to trust me." He replies, neither of you looking at each other. "It's not like the incident at mrs.Esther's house, is it?" You tease, carefully looking over at him. You see a smile spread across his face and he remembers the old babysitter they shared. "I should never have told you." "That's okay, every 10 year old craps their pants sometimes." You giggle, leaning closer to him. "Hey, she only had one bathroom and that lady probably fell asleep on the toilet so I couldn't get there in time." He defends himself, an embarrassed smile taking up his features. This was blissful. Just you two, outside joking... Just like when you were children and everything was simple. "Please trust me when I tell you that I'm okay. What happened won't happen again... I really do want to tell you, but I can't." His voice turning serious. You paused to take in the moment. You do trust him, and somehow you knew everything would work out... But for now you were going to stare at the sky with the boy of your dreams.
