ISAIAH S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 38
“Behold, for my own welfare I had great bitterness; But You have kept my soul from the pit of nothingness, For You have hurled all my sins behind Your back." ~ Isaiah 38:17
“It is the living who give thanks to You, as I do today; A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness." ~ Isaiah 38:19
“The Lord is certain to save me; So we will play my songs on stringed instruments All the days of our life at the house of the Lord .” ~ Isaiah 38:20
For my own welfare I have had great bitterness... - me, on my own...
But You have kept my soul from the pit of nothingness, For You have hurled all my sins behind Your back - He has done this for me, thanks to and through Jesus
Do I give thanks the way I should?
Have I told about ALL of His faithfulness?
A - THE only - certainty for my salvation... through Jesus...
My songs only scratch the surface of beginning the celebration/thanksgiving...
Remember/consider where and who I'd be without His great mercy...
Give thanks in all things, always...
Tell of His faithfulness...
Play my "songs" to and for Him...
Heavenly Father God - forgive my forgetfulness and assuming acceptance of Your mercy and grace - for taking it for granted and not being as thankful at all times for what You did for me through Jesus and have provided me through Your Holy Spirit... May Your Spirit remind me to speak up and tell what You have done and are doing, for Your glory... may my words and actions and songs bring honor to You... In Jesus's saving Name, and for Your praiseful worship...
For Him... and for y'all because of Him...
