tbh i can’t stand people who make fun of people dancing

like there is nothing that is quite as much an expression of having fun as doing a little dance, or finally going out somewhere and just moving to the music

when you’re making fun of someone for dancing you bring shame to something that used to be only joy, you are literally shitting all over someone’s good time (which is completely harmless, judging from the type of dancing that typically gets made fun of on tumblr, it’s never the potentially invasive shit, it’s only the people who genuinely seem to be letting go)

and it’s just. you know how hard it is to get some people to just let go and dance? you know how difficult it is for some to overcome shyness to actually get out and enjoy themselves? what you do when you make fun of people dancing is you tell them and anyone who might dance like them that they should not have fun like that

so just. fuck you. don’t do that. let people fucking be.
