Look at this doofy-ass thing. Yes, I do have this weird symbol floating over my head.
The reason? I am actually using it with a software called OpenTrack utilizing Aruco Tracker, which can actually track these printed symbols via a camera. While normally used for augmented reality (the tech is really similar to those AR cards that come with the 3DS), OpenTrack uses it to output translational and rotational data for the purposes of headtracking in flight sims and games like ARMA.
The result is surprisingly decent for a floating piece of paper with a symbol on it. Still... I want to get myself a TrackIR...
