i think part of the reason kpop is so popular is because it’s a never ending source of content. not one day goes by without getting some kind of content from various groups. there’s almost always a new song with a fully produced music video, there’s always vlive, a new dance practice video, selfies, pictures, vlogs of performances or just regular stuff, while in the american industry artists don’t have to do that. they don’t have to supply endless content, they can upload 3 pictures a week and maybe an album a year, go to interviews and be done with it. the kpop industry is the fucking hunger games where if you don’t post anything for a day you become irrelevant and people forget about you or you get overshadowed by another group. it’s just interesting
