This Christmas card really makes me miss Shidou and Rin’s interactions. It’s hilarious to see how Shidou keeps ragebaiting Rin, and Rin keeps falling for it every single time. I just love how they both can’t stand each other but still can’t ignore each other. It reminds me of when Rin was still looking for Shidou even after getting beaten up 😂

Besides that, both of them also have this connection to Sae. Like, Shidou is literally the guy Sae chose to play with but somehow Rin doesn’t react much to that and only loses it when Sae praises Isagi? Yeah… that makes no sense. I really wish their relationship could be explored more, but with knsr saying Isagi will be the one involved with the Itoshi bros, ngl it kinda kills my hope.

Writing for the Itoshi bros is fun but honestly I'm running out of ideas for them if not given a specific scenario,, but here's what my brain has to offer right now

So, earlier today I made this post about the Itoshi brothers having a toddler sibling who was born shortly before or after Sae left. So I'll do some more headcanons for that!

-whenever Sae visited home, he barely knew what to do with you. He wasn't particularly fond of young children anyways, so bonding with you didn't really happen. Sae also didn't care that much for you anyways

-and honestly, Sae forgot about you most of the time while in Spain. Sure, he knew of your existence, but it's not like you played an important role in his life. There just wasn't enough time for him to develop a special connection towards you

-but hey, it was the same for you. Your parents always showed you pictures of Sae and you would watch his matches on TV whenever he played, but without him actually being there, there was no way to form a proper bond

-and whenever he visited, he actually seemed rather intimidating in your point of view

-but your relationship with Rin? Omg. Literally the cutest ever

-after Sae left, Rin started feeling like he was the big brother now. And he really wanted to be the best big brother he could be, because, in his thoughts, he would have to take the place of Sae's role as well, since you rarely got to meet your oldest brother

-even after Rin started getting bitter about Sae and he became cold towards literally everyone, you remained as his one and only softspot

-when you can walk properly, Rin would start teaching you soccer

-whenever Sae visited, Rin would be extra affectionate towards you, in attempt to make Sae jealous. It never worked, though, because Sae really didn't care

-the way Rin misses you when he's in Blue Lock. He wouldn't tell anyone about it, but yeah he misses you very very much. He misses playing soccer with you a lot and just having you around in general

Okey, I can´t stop thinking about Itoshi bros as Mario bros. I bet they played at it and Rin always won and Sae said he didn´t care (it did). Rin, the little one and green and Sae, the elder one and red!!!

Rin wants to be your one and only idol when it comes to soccer. So when you find another player you look up to and even spend a lot of time with, he gets very jealous. He doesn't want you to betray him like Sae betrayed him. Rin will start shittalking the person you look up to in hope you lose interest in them. But instead, you get angry at him for talking that way about someone you admire. And it ends in the two of you fighting. And no, Rin won't see his mistake in this. Now his goal isn't only to beat Sae in soccer, he also wants to beat the person you look up to, so he can be the only one you admire again.

Sae wouldn't be bothered by it at first. Until you mention they're like an older brother to you. Because no, he's your big brother. Only he and Rin deserve to be seen that way by you. Similarly to Rin, Sae will talk badly about their skills, just not in a shittalking way like Rin does, Instead, Sae would leave backhanded "compliments" about them, whenever you talk about them. But you pick up on that rather quickly and end up confronting Sae about it. But your oldest brother refuses to let you know his true thoughts, so he keeps looking for excuses until you're too frustrated to continue talking to him about this.

-we all know the shit that goes down between Rin and Sae. And you truly can't stand it.

-Sae doesn't talk to you about it and if you address it he will simply ignore that

-Rin makes you choose sides, no matter how much you refuse to do so. But he's so insistent and almost guilt trips you, you lie and say you're on his side

-ever since Sae left to go to Spain and then Rin started becoming bitter, you feel like you've even been forgotten by your brothers. Sae never texts or calls you and Rin is way too busy being concentrated on beating Sae one day

Hello there, can i request itoshi!sister reader who isn't into but still good at soccer ? For example, Sae/rin playing with her coz its bonding time 🥺 she has outstanding skills, not to preofessional level but higher than average. Little lady is talented and getting complements from sae's and rin's teammates. They even agreed she is better than isagi when he started his early blue lock days 😂. but then she goes (why yall are this hyped over few BASIC movements even CHILDREN *sit down you are still a child* can do in A WEEK or TWO ??). *insert proud itoshi brothers*. -Rin makes you show off your skills to his teammates because he wants to show them how being talented at soccer literally runs in your blood, aka he wants everyone to feel like they'll never be as good as him because part of his skill runs through is his blood

-everyone starts telling you how good you are and wants you to be a player as well, but you're just like "Uhhh that barely took me any effort but okay"

-in general, when it comes to movements and technique, your skills are above average. But considering you have no idea what it's like to play in a team against another one, that's where your talent would certainly leave you almost useless. But! If you wanted to, you could definitely expand on that and become a great player! But that's nowhere in you future's plans
