rin was willing to lose........ in v u20 when rin failed to intercept sae's pass while isagi successfully did rin thought "you wouldn't even let me lose, even though I wanted to fight by myself..."

this situation where rin-chan was willing to accept an L happened when he determined his self-worth through his relationships—letting his team take on the game from that point on would mean that he let his "inability to read itoshi sae, even though they're brothers" define his wins and losses, so if he had let his team support him he'd just reinforce the notion that his value was determined by other people. n so I think he had successfully swerved into the lane of blue lock-correctness when he chose to continue pushing through by himself in order to score and win, changing the part of him that was willing to lose bc he let his relationships define his wins and losses

so at least for a minute or so things were going very well for itoshi rin, he won the duel against itoshi sae not because he's his brother not because he values himself in relation to his brother, but because he chose to fight by himself and by affirming his own sense of self

now. my question is. was rin being what he declared was himself, coded through the title "the destroyer," when he interrupted isagi's scoring attempt in v france? could this action be called "fighting by himself," if it was spurred on by him seeing isagi lose his role on the team and start working with karasu's system, thinking "how dare you try to cut me off"? does this not run in counter to what happened in that last minute or so during the v u20 game? if it does and rin-chan in his v u20 destroyer mode was true to blue lock's ideal, wouldn't v france's last minute rin run in counter to blue lock's ideal as well? would it be valid then for isagi to deem ego's philosophy has failed, if rin-chan wasn't acting according to blue lock's ideal?

There's this really obscure forgotten DC hero named the Heckler, who's basically buggs bunny as a superhero, not having any powers or physically strong, but just really good at pissing people off until they accidentally deal with themselves.

Now they're interesting, but the REAL star of the show is one of his villains, John Doe the Generic Man, who's this guy in a stark white suit with flat pink unshaded, untextured skin with no features or anything who talks like chatGPT and has black text over his face that explains what he's feeling at the moment. That guy is fucking fascinating.
