I had a hard time picking one of these LOL I was inspired by a few but ultimately i chose the Jeongin prompt (I could just, picture it so well). I have 4 other submissions right now in my inbox for this event so if I finish all of those I may come back and do another one of these <33
They Know You're Mine
Pairings: Jeongin x fem!reader
Rating: T
Genre: Established Relationship, Possessive Tendencies
Summary: You never thought of Jeongin as possessive. Sure he liked to have his hands on you at all times, but you liked that. It made you feel special that he wasn't that touchy of a person, but he was with you.
So the necklace he picked out for you for the awards show that night, that was just a cute gift, right?
Word Count: 2.6k
A/N: when I read this combo, I instantly had an idea LOL so I was so excited about it! Honestly, I think Jeongin would be the kind who'd like to dress up his partner and buy them super nice things to wear all the time <3

(my writing masterlist)
One of the things you hadn’t expected when you started dating Jeongin was how touchy he’d be.
You knew he didn’t like skinship. You’d seen how he was with most of the members, shying away or outright shoving them when they tried to snuggle up on him.
But with you? It was the absolute opposite.
Anytime you were around him, especially if you were also hanging out with his or your friends, he always had a hand on you. His usual spot was around your waist but sometimes he would rest it on your shoulder, and some days he liked to keep his hand on your ass.
The boys liked to tease him about it, but honestly you liked it. You liked knowing that Jeongin was picky about who he touched and that you were one of the few that were allowed to do it freely.
It also made you feel like you belonged, like you were wanted. No matter the location or other people around, Jeongin was never afraid to show that you were with him.
It was something small you'd been worried about when you initially agreed to date him. You weren't some big superstar yourself, you were just you. How on earth would you fit into his world?
He made you feel like you'd been there the whole time, right by his side. You never felt out of place or talked over. Anytime he did bring you to an event or something you felt was “higher caliber,” he made sure no one else treated you that way, either.
Which was exactly the kind of event you were attending with him tonight.
Stray Kids would be performing at a large music award show tonight, and Jeongin had invited you to be there backstage, as well as to attend the after party. Before dating him, you would’ve protested that you had nothing to wear for an event like that, but Jeongin had already spoiled you with several other outfits that he had bought for you for occasions just like this.
In fact, he’d wanted to buy you another one, but you firmly declined.
“Jeongin,” you said, placing a hand on his chest as you looked at him, “I love you, truly, but I can’t stand the idea of not wearing these pieces again. They’re so nice, and I really do like them, so let me wear them, okay?”
Jeongin sighed. “You know you could wear these on our dates if you wanted, right?” He teased lightly.
“I have,” you countered playfully, leaning in to lightly kiss him, “but they work for this, too. Besides, I’m not the one being photographed. They won’t care if this is ‘last year’s piece’ or something.”
Jeongin snorted. “You know I don’t care about that either, I just,” his eyes roamed over your body slowly. His tongue poked out, brushing across his lower lip almost unconsciously as he drank you in. “I like dressing you up.”
You shivered which made Jeongin smirk.
“Can I at least buy you some accessories?” He bargained. “Compromise, right?”
You sighed, rolling your eyes fondly. “Fiine,” you gave in, making his signature Cheshire grin come back.
You ended up getting ready at his place the night of the event. The boys would be mostly dressed up at the event itself, but it was still fun to get ready alongside them. Plus, Hyunjin and Felix were great hype men when it came to your hair and makeup.
Jeongin stepped into his bedroom just as you were finishing up your hair in his adjacent bathroom. Felix was sat on the sink counter, chatting with you while you worked.
You felt a hand slip around your waist, lips brushing your cheek, making you smile. You met Jeongin’s gaze in the mirror. “Hey Innie, I’m almost ready.”
“No rush jagiya,” he reassured you, “I just wanted to show you the accessories I brought.”
His hand moved up to bring a stunning diamond choker up around your neck, holding it there so you could see it in the mirror.
You couldn’t help the soft gasp that escaped your lips. “It’s so pretty, Innie-”
He just grinned and finished the clasp the moment he got your approval. “I thought so, too.” He kissed your shoulder, teeth grazing your skin just slightly. “It looks just as good as I thought it would.”
“Is that all?” You teased, knowing full well that he had something else in mind for your outfit, too.
He smiled, pulling a small black box out of your pocket. “Those are your earrings. They match the necklace. And you should also wear that bracelet I got you for our 6 month anniversary.”
“The one with the J on it?” You confirmed and he nodded, grin growing bigger, if that was at all possible.
You turned to face him, tilting one ear towards him. “You want to put the earrings in?”
Jeongin already had the box open and easily slipped the earrings into place. He told you early on it was something he enjoyed doing, helping you get ready and “dolled up” as he put it. He liked seeing an outfit come together, especially if he had a say in it.
When you moved so he could see your other ear, you realized Felix was no longer in the room with the two of you. You blushed a bit at the fact that you’d completely missed his exit. You knew he’d understand, and it’s probably why he left, but still.
Jeongin stepped back, bringing his hands up to cup your face as he looked you over. “Perfect.”
You blushed. “Speak for yourself.”
He smirked. “I am,” he purred, leaning in to kiss the tip of your nose before stepping back. “I can grab the bracelet for you, if you’d like.”
You nodded. “That’d be great. I’m basically done, anyways, but,” you waved a hand as you turned back to the sink to finish up. “It should be in the front pocket of my purse.”
You focused back on your hair and makeup, doing your last steps before putting away your stuff.
“Okay, I’m ready,” you said as you stepped out of the bathroom. Jeongin was waiting there for you, your purse sat on his shoulder while his other hand held your bracelet.
He stepped up, gently grabbing your left hand and adjusting the bracelet until it sat perfectly on your wrist. Then, he passed your purse to you and gave you another once over. “Walking away from you later is going to be hard,” he mused.
You couldn’t help but grin. “Consider it incentive to perform well so you can come back.”
He beamed, giving you a kiss before slipping an arm around your waist. “Our performances are always our best.”
You winked at him playfully. “Yeah, I know.”
The two of you met up with the rest of the group, quickly getting into the company cars and heading to the venue.
The performers had to arrive a couple hours before the audience got to come inside in order to have time for sound check and to be styled. Luckily, being with Jeongin allowed you to hang out with them while they did this. You got to sit on the couch in their dressing room and chat with the boys while they took turns getting ready.
During the show, you sat in the staff section, hanging out with Changbin’s girlfriend and excitedly chatting about what awards you thought the boys might win. You knew a few of the staff members as well, but most of them were still backstage to help give the boys with the show.
The awards show was fun. Before you and Jeongin had started dating, you would watch these sorts of things from a grainy livestream, or catch up on the highlights the day after. Even though the two of you had been together for over a year now, it still felt surreal at times getting to see it in person.
You enjoyed watching some of the other groups perform, like ATEEZ and Enhypen, but you screamed with the rest of them when it was time for Stray Kids to take the stage. Jeongin winked at you during the performance, making you smile, as you waved your light stick along with the beat.
The hardest part was trying not to cry too hard when the boys went up to accept their awards.
Once the final speeches had been given, the idols milled around the stage, chatting like normal, while you headed with the staff to meet them backstage again.
You rounded a corner and locked eyes with Jeongin through the crowd. He instantly shouldered his way through to you, grinning as he wrapped his arms around you and spun the two of you in a circle.
“Congratulations!” You cheered excitedly. You saw Changbin hugging his girlfriend, too, and giggled as Jeongin drew you into a kiss. “Your guys’ performance was so good, and I’m so proud of the awards you got.” You kissed Jeongin again. “You worked so hard and deserve the recognition.”
Jeongin smiled, shifting you so you were tucked against his side, his hand around your waist as the group continued their path down the hall. “Thank you. Did you have fun?”
“Yeah I did,” you said, nodding.
Jeongin’s thumb brushed over your waist methodically. “Do you still feel up to going to the after party? Be honest.”
“I am!” You replied without hesitation.
“Alright,” he said, smiling as he kissed your cheek, “If you want to tap out at any time, just tell me, and we’ll leave.”
You leaned into his side a little more, smiling back. “I will, I promise.”
The after party wasn't too far from the venue. You all piled into the same cars and ended up at a large, upscale conference building designed to host large events and parties such as this.
Security was high and there were a long string of cars letting people of all influences out into the venue. You waited your turn, stepping out after Jeongin, who offered his hand to you to help you out of the car before once more sliding it around your waist as you walked inside.
You didn't intend to leave Jeongin's side. Honestly, you knew he wasn't inclined to leave your side, either. As much as Jeongin made sure people didn't talk over you, you weren't particularly inclined to talk when chatting with executives and brand representatives.
Talking to the other groups though? That was always fun. You could tell Jeongin had a better time talking with them, too.
The two of you had reconvened with Changbin and his girlfriend, munching on some of the horderves and laughing at a story Changbin was telling when Chan came over.
He looked at the two boys and then at the two of you. “I need to steal them for just one second, sorry girls.”
You shrugged and Changbin's girlfriend waved him off. “It's fine. We're big girls, we'll be okay,” she said playfully as she slid over to your side.
You grinned, raising your champagne glass to them. “Go schmooze, we'll be here.”
Jeongin sighed and kissed your cheek. “Be right back.”
As you watched them walk away, you heard a familiar voice behind you. “Man did I miss Binnie again?”
Changbin's girlfriend turned around faster than you, a wide grin forming on her face. “Wooyoung!” She said happily, opening her arms.
Wooyoung beamed, all but jumping into her arms. “Better Bin!” He greeted excitedly. Then he noticed you and waved. “Hi Y/N!”
You laughed, waving back. “Hi Wooyoung.” You looked past him and saw Mingi and Yunho stepping up beside their band mate. “Hi Mingi, hi Yunho.”
They smiled at you. “Hey Y/N, nice to see you again,” Yunho said. “I assume you got to see the award show. How'd you like it?”
“It was so much fun,” you replied. “You guys did great. Congrats on your awards!”
“Thank you,” Wooyoung said, beaming.
Mingi suddenly snorted and you looked at him, confused. The others glanced at him too, curious. Surprisingly, his eyes were on you. “Jeongin doesn't do subtle, does he?” He asked teasingly.
You cocked your head, confused. “What do you mean?”
“The necklace,” he answered, gesturing towards it. “I thought it looked familiar, then I recognized it.” He grinned. “I guess it's a little subtle for people who don't know what it is.”
“Huh?” You said at the same time Changbin's girlfriend laughed.
“The necklace is a little subtle, but not the bracelet,” she giggled.
You glanced at your bracelet, still confused. “What about it?”
Changbin's girlfriend waved a hand at you. “You know how he likes people to know you're his. This is just an extension of that.”
Mingi nodded. “His Damiani ambassadorship is well known enough, so when you're at events like this if people even vaguely know you're connected to him-”
“Or when he's standing right there with his arm around you,” she added, grinning.
Mingi smirked playfully. “It definitely gets the message across.”
It was like a piece clicked into place in your brain. You never minded Jeongin's tendency to keep you close or have a hand on you, so you never really clocked it as possessive.
The thought still didn't bother you, to be fair.
You also were well aware of his ambassadorship with Damiani. He'd gotten you pieces from them before, which made you vaguely nervous due to how expensive they were, but he usually at least mentioned that that was where they were from. So when he didn't explicitly say this necklace was from there…
Oh my god-
You groaned, burying your face in your hands for a moment. “How expensive is this jewelry that I have around my neck right now?” You partially whined.
Mingi laughed. “It's easily 54 million won.”
You heard someone whisper, “Holy shit,” but you were too busy staring at Mingi in shock to check who.
“Seriously?” You asked, voice cracking in disbelief.
“Seriously, what?”
You spun around to see Jeongin stepping up to you. You immediately jabbed a finger into his chest.
“You didn't tell me this necklace was a 50 million won necklace," you hissed.
Jeongin just shrugs. “I could tell that mentioning the price of the jewelry I got you made you uncomfortable.” He brought a hand up to rest it on your waist. “You deserve nice things, I have the money, and Damiani throws nice pieces at me for practically nothing.”
“But what if I ruin them,” you whine softly.
His expression turns fond. “First, it would be an accident if you did so, and accidents happen. Second, their stuff is higher quality than that, it's not going to shatter at the first snag.”
“Besides,” he continued, stepping closer til your chests were practically touching, “I like seeing you in Damiani. It's mine.”
Once again you thought you heard someone say, “Told you so,” but you were too distracted by Jeongin's gaze to clock who said it, much less care.
Jeongin tilted his head slightly, still looking confident. “Does that bother you?”
You immediately shook your head, which made his grin grow. He closed the distance to brush his lips against yours. “Good.”
When he pulled away, you felt a little dazed, but Jeongin just turned to hold you against his side and started talking with Yunho and Mingi like nothing had just happened.
And if Jeongin's hand slid to your ass later when the Enhypen boys stopped by to chat, well, perhaps you liked him being a bit possessive anyway.
Every time I remember they didn't let you kill illario I feel insane. INSANE. I boot up Bg3 and I can murder an entire grove of innocent refugees including children. I open up DAO and I can kill every single one of my companions off by the end game. I open DATV and the assassins won't kill the guy who has spent the whole game trying to murder them. Forgive him please 🥺🥺🥺🥺 or at the very least put him on house arrest 👉👈. I can't even throw him into the ossuary as a fun revenge moment. HELLO????
For someone raised in the peak of internet stranger danger, I feel like I'd be very easy to lure offline. Oh you're local to me and want to be friends?? I'm driving to your house with beads to make friendship bracelets right now
On the topic of Lucanis having such a massive disconnect between the intense love and care he Feels for Illario and what he actually Says to and about Illario, when I picked that option and he blatantly is just mean about him I audibly went 'jesus christ, Lucanis'. It's so obvious how deep the rot goes. How much Caterina pit them against each other. Like he does care, this whole conversation happens because he's terrified that Zara is going to come after Illario. He's terrified for him but still. Even when he's scared for Illario's life he has to jab at him and say he's an incompetent assassin. To Teia, to Rook. He only met Rook anything from a few days to like maybe two weeks ago, depending on the timeline in your head ig. That's insane. It's an insane thing to say about the closest person in your life. Even if it's your sibling because he's obviously only joking to a certain extent.
