Got a delivery of new IV supplies today. My cabinet is stuffed! Not pictured: My IV pole and ten dressing change kits. Also, there are sixteen 500 ml bags of saline in there.
Yay for IVs, boo for allergic reactions and bright lights. [Image of an IV pole with a clear bag of IV medicine and tubing hanging from it. There is a bright light and beige walls in the background.]
I got my PICC line taken out!!
I was super excited when I got it put in and the potential of the treatments making me better. But the treatments were kind of miserable and I feel better off them than on them. Now, almost 8 months later, I am really excited to not have it anymore.
