"Wacky Races" Get Extra-Sized Comics

Warner Bros. Discovery and Dynamite Entertainment are partnering on comics set in Hanna-Barbera's Wacky Races. Giant-Sized Wacky Races hails from writer Ivan Cohen, artist Mariano Benitez Chapo, and colorist Nick Caponi.

Said Cohen, "the logical next step in my career was to update the classic Wacky Races for the 2020s, blending the original cartoon with elements of pro wrestling, action films, and a hint of Furiosa for good measure." (Dynamite Entertainment)

Giant-Sized Wacky Races #1, rated Teen, goes on sale in April 2025. The debut issue features cardstock covers by Joseph Michael Linsner, Edwin Galmon, and Robert Hack.
