to say ivy hasn't seen hongjoong so upset is probably an understatement. he's not all that angry, he's just utterly upset. how could they go back to their old ways? what could be more important than their friendship?
"you two have had your problems in the past, I get that, but this... this just feels like your old issues all over again."
it looked like a dad giving a lecture to his arguing kids.
"we didn't mean for it to get this bad..." ivy says quietly, not meeting anyone's eyes.
"just tell us" san ushered the two of them.
all of them looked at the two sitting on the couch.
mingi, wooyoung, ivy, and jongho were all just hanging out in the living room while waiting on their food delivery to show up. their eyes were attached to the television screen while some mediocre comedy played. "this show sucks" jongho said blandly as he grabbed his phone
"you were the one that wanted to watch it" ivy chuckled while her best friend rolled his eyes.
"how was your guys' dance practice today?" mingi asked
wooyoung, ivy, and yunho all had a private practice earlier that day, some members worked out, some went to vocal practice, etc. ivy was wanting to catch back up on the dances that she hasn't practiced in what feels like forever for the tour, so wooyoung and yunho offered to help her out, knowing they probably needed to touch up on some stuff.
"it was fine" ivy shrugged "just need more practice" she smiled up at her boyfriend. but something in wooyoung got annoyed, he rolled his eyes and sat up.
"no kidding" he mumbled, surprising the others in the room. jongho looked over at ivy with wide eyes as she watched her suddenly annoyed friend walk to the kitchen.
"what's your problem today?" she asked.
yunho and san walked out at, maybe not the perfect timing. yunho already looked done, grabbing a water and plopping next to jongho on the couch, san was beyond confused.
"nothing jisoo" wooyoung simply said while walking out of the kitchen and into his room.
"what's that about?" mingi asked
"they had a fight at practice today" yunho answered looking at the defeated girl
"over what?" san questioned.
ivy sighed and walked back to her own room. she looked done, with wooyoung, everything. whatever went on earlier clearly affected her. everyone could tell something was wrong when they got home, but having that ivy put a smile on her face and shook her head, they figured it was just a rough practice.
"i don't know, i went to the bathroom for a break and i came back and they were yelling" he looked crushed almost. everyone has their arguments here and there, but whenever wooyoung and ivy fight it's like flashbacks to their trainee days.
"was it as bad as the old ones?" jongho questioned.
"no, no not really. but, it wasn't calm" the taller answered with a head shake.
mingi sighs from the couch, walking to ivy's solo bedroom. he knocks on the door, and she simply opens it and lets him in. the other three stay on the couch minding their business. they hate seeing each other upset, but at times like these ivy and wooyoung don't really need to be bombarded by people.
"what's going on?" the taller sits on his girlfriends bed as she lays down.
"he's just being a dick," she said while scrolling through her phone. mingi wasn't having the simple answers, he grabs her phone, sits her up, and asks again.
"what's going on?"
"It's like no one else can make mistakes around him. I haven't done those dances in months and he expected me to go in there knowing step for step perfectly."
she's frustrated and annoyed, but she's mostly sad. She and wooyoung hardly fight, they made a pact before debut to never fight like they used to.
"details?" he asked, but she shook her head. "okay... get some rest, it's late and you've been practicing all day"
the next morning hongjoong came home from the studio to see wooyoung and ivy avoiding each other. seonghwa gives him a certain look. "they've been like that all morning"
"what happened?" the leader asked
"they got into a fight yesterday," yeosang said as he took a drink from the fridge.
"over what?"
"well i wasn't told many details, but ivy said she made some mistakes during their practice yesterday and they started arguing" mingi answered
"where's yunho?" hongjoong questions
"he went to go get something from 7/11, he should be back here soon," seonghwa explained
it wasn't long before yunho walked into the dorm. hongjoong pulled him away to his room to talk privately. "what happened yesterday"
"ivy was struggling with the dances, we were all getting frustrated. so i went to the bathroom, and when i came back they were arguing"
“what was said” the leader asked, tilting his head
“not much while i was there, they saw me come in and stopped”
the two moved on with their day, hoping the two would just put whatever happened under the rug. the normal schedule went on, recording, practice, dancing…
dance practices were exhausting as it was, but the gaping hole in the team work aspect of the routines made it so much worse. it’s unbelievable that some groups don’t get along and still manage to have amazing routines. ateez is known for their strong discography and family dynamics, so having wooyoung and ivy arguing and messing up routines is something no one can handle.
“okay enough” yunho said aggravated. he watched as wooyoung and ivy bump into each other once again. “you two are messing up the whole routine.”
ivy stands there with her hand on her forehead, trying to catch her breath, while wooyoung stands there annoyed. the younger looks over at the taller boy, hoping he would say something. nothing.
“just take a break” hongjoong’s sighed and let everyone move around the room. ivy stands there as wooyoung storms out of the room. jongho walks over to the girl and puts a hand on her shoulder, guiding her over to her bag with water in it.
seonghwa walks out to go find wooyoung, it didn’t take long thankfully, he was sitting outside the practice room door. “what’s going on”
“everyone treats her like she’s innocent” wooyoung glanced up at the oldest member “like i’m the bad guy”
“well it’s not like we really have anything to go off of, both of you refuse to speak”
“yeah we’ll just know she’s not the princess you’re making her out to be.” wooyoung gets up and walks back into the practice room
later that night, everyone is chilling in the dorm watching tv or just doing their own thing. ivy was in her room while wooyoung was in his. or so everyone thought at least.
mingi, yunho, hongjoong, and yeosang were all sitting in the living room watching whatever was on while san and seonghwa were talking to jongho in the kitchen while making food. everything seemed fine, ivy told everyone she’s journaling in her room and wooyoung went to play video games. so everything was fine for now.
until they all heard yelling from the hallway.
mingi and hongjoong quickly stormed to the hall with everyone following to see wooyoung and ivy arguing, again.
“you’re so selfish wooyoung, you think everything has to be about you don’t you?” ivy was crying from being so frustrated
“when did i once say that? why don’t you get your head out of your ass!” wooyoungs veins were popping out and his face was red. he practically had steam coming out of his ears.
“guys stop” mingi tried to break up the argument, pulling ivy near him.
“how about you tell your bitch to shut up mingi!”
mingi grew with anger, putting himself between the arguing members. he almost launches at wooyoung when yunho stops him "mingi" he warns.
"everyone, living room, now" hongjoong says before everyone exits the hallway
back to the present, everyone is looking at the two members before anyone speaks. it was almost shocking when wooyoung was the first one to say something.
"we were all stressed out, and i guess practicing the dances didn't help. no one was getting anything right and it was just... frustrating. so yunho went to take a break while jisoo and i kept practicing when she bumped into me and i ended up getting hit in the shin. i was already fired up and it just added fuel i guess. so we started arguing. i called her an idiot, she called me a pig, and it just kept going."
"all of this, over dance?" yeosang questioned
"we didn't think it would get like this" wooyoung defended, he felt bad.
"you two, from the start, have always been argumentative, we knew this would cause issues. but i thought you fixed this already" seonghwa had his hands on his hips, giving the two a parental glare.
"we thought we did too. but that doesn't mean we won't argue still" ivy shrugged while wiping away tears.
"you two sort this out, i have a headache." hongjoong walked away, rubbing his temples. everyone followed but jongho.
"don't fuck things up" was all he said before leaving along with the others.

"i'm sorry" ivy said quietly "for everything" wooyoung looked over at her as she continued "everything has been so stressful lately, and, i-i just feel so alone these days. so when you started yelling at me, i felt so helpless that i needed to defend myself. and i said some pretty messed up things. you aren't a bad person, you aren't selfish, or a pig. i'm really sorry woo"
"i'm sorry too. we were both stressed out and i shouldn't have taken that out on you. the name-calling was just so dumb of me, and you aren't an idiot, you're so smart iv. and you aren't childish or a pricky bitch. and i'm especially sorry for calling you mingi's bitch." he chuckled a little as he wiped his own tears now
"yeah" she snorted "if anything he's my bitch"
the two laughed and kept talking things out. it doesn't fix everything, and they definitely have more to work on. but they have all the support in the world.

ivy waits anxiously but excitedly in front of the camera as she watches more people come into her live. she giggles at the comments freaking out when they see her. "hello," she says softly with a smile. "how is atiny today?" she looks through the comments. her voice was soft and a little quiet like she was being cautious not to make her voice too loud. she's freaking out a little herself. she hasn't been on camera in what felt like a lifetime. "this feels so weird" she giggled again, "i hope everyone has been healthy."
"i know i'm going live kind of late for a lot of people, so sorry," she says apologetically knowing a lot of her current viewers are up past at least 1 in the morning for this. "'how were your holidays?' my holidays were good. i spent new year's and christmas with my family."
"a lot of people are asking if i'm officially coming out of hiatus..." she smiles and trails off. she stays silent for a minute, pretending to ignore the question "yes"
the comments exploded but she acts unfazed, trying to hide her giggles and smile. she already talked to everyone about her coming out of hiatus, she's ready. she feels and looks healthier than ever, and she's never felt so okay with life than she is right now.
"'what songs have you been listening to these days' hm, i've been listening to a lot of selena gomez" she nods her head as she keeps reading the comments. she hears a knock on her door before she excuses herself to go and answer it.

she walks back into the frame with a monster and some food "seonghwa oppa brought food" she giggled while seonghwa walked over and waved
"hello atiny" he says with a smile "did you tell them?" asking about the question earlier

seonghwa left soon after that. Ivy sat on live for a little longer while she ate and answered questions. "i'm a little tired atiny, i'm going to go back to bed now. goodnight, i love you!"

ATEEZ kicked off their World Tour with two concerts in Seoul on the 29th-30th. Many fans have been anticipating this moment to see their favorite idols perform live all across the globe. However, many ATINYs became worried after member IVY posted a worrisome picture on Instagram on October 20th.
Though the image of the young idol was paired with four other pictures, fans pointed out how Ivy seems to be thinner and paler than usual. Many have stated that while Ivy's figure and weight fluctuate often due to her dieting and workouts (as stated by the idol herself), she has never been this thin. Others say Ivy could have edited the picture heavily due to the recent hate she received. While Atiny's have been debating on the picture, the groups' company KQ Entertainment and Ivy herself stayed quiet on the topic.
The rumors and talk went away for a while until the 29th when Korean fans went to social media stating that Ivy looked exhausted and "skinnier than normal." However, it wasn't until the next night when the videos of the young girl collapsing after performing the title track 'Guerrilla' that fans demanded KQ Entertainment to release some sort of statement. The videos showed Ivy looking tired nearing the end of the song, and once the song ended and the lights began to dim, you could see her hold onto her member Jongho's shoulder as she falls onto the floor, sending the audience into a worrying state.
After the incident, ATEEZ's leader Hongjoong announced that Ivy would not be present for the remaining three songs of the concert.
"Ivy isn't feeling very well right now. She is going to rest while we finish the concert. She said not to worry and enjoy the concert. Feel well soon Ivy"
Though the members seemed to play it off at first, as the concert went on and the group performed 'Turbulence' it was clear that the members were worried themselves. Members Yunho, Mingi, and Wooyoung would mention Ivy's name often throughout the remaining songs. Nearing the end, the group took a moment to bond with the fans and have an emotional discussion.
San stated "Many will worry about us. That's okay, but don't make the situations worse than needed please"
Mingi, who has been openly dating Ivy since summer began to tear up a little while talking about the hate the two of them have received. "Not everyone will like me or any of us, but please be kind. Words can hurt people a lot sometimes. We want to make our fans happy, that's why we do what we do"
Seonghwa, the oldest member of ATEEZ took a moment to speak as well, mentioning Ivy by name. "We are all very happy to be performing for you. And we work hard to make sure everything is perfect, and sometimes it's a little exhausting. But we do it because we love you... Ivy has worked hard for you all, but she is just tired right now"
While KQ Entertainment has yet to release any statement, fans are getting angry.
On November 1st of 2022, KQ Entertainment announced that ATEEZ's Ivy would be taking a hiatus due to health concerns. Since then, fans of the group have only seen Ivy in pre-recorded videos, such as music videos. While many fans have been hoping for Ivy to return sooner than later, everyone is just hoping she is taking her time in recovery.
However, on February 14, 2023, the young singer was spotted at an airport in Berlin. Reports state that seemed much healthier and greeted fans with pure happiness.
KQ Entertainment has yet to post a statement on her return, but the rest of the ATEEZ members did point out that she was at their concert that day and gave her heart-warming messages.

Olivia Nicole Min was born June 10 2001 in Detroit Michigan. Born the second daughter of Nicole and Markus Min, and the middle sister of Miya and Austin Min. Olivia was raised in a free-spirited Christian household.
She began dancing at the age of 3 at The 32nd Dance Studio and competed from ages 5 to 12. Growing up, Olivia's father suffered from Colon Cancer on and off. When she was younger, all she knew was that her dad got sick a lot, so they often visited him in the hospital. But then he would get better until he wasn't better again. As she grew up, she understood her dad's illness more, she didn't understand why he was ill, but he was and there was nothing she could do about it.
She learned a lot about cancer from her dad's doctor, and a friend she made in the hospital when she would stay there for longer than an hour. Her name was Kaylyn. she was a year older than little Olivia. they met when she was 5, and Kaylyn was 6. The doctor had just explained more about her dad's illness, and this was when she began to understand that maybe her dad wasn't going to live a long time. she got upset so one of the nurses to her to the child wing of the hospital where there were toys and kids her age, in hopes to cheer her up.
"Hi, I'm Kaylyn" Kaylyn was a small girl with a pink scarf wrapped around her head, she looked cold but almost happy.
Olivia sniffled "I'm Olivia"
"What's wrong Olivia?" the little girl sits next to her, wrapping her arm around her.
"My daddy's really sick"
Kaylyn pursed her lips a little. She understood illness too well for such a young thing. "What kind of sick?"
"He has cancer"
"Oh... I have cancer too"
"Olivia looks the girl in her eyes now. She's pretty, she has these big round eyes and a small button nose. "I have uhm... leuk... leukemia. it's something with my blood. So i do these treatments that make my hair go away and stuff"
"I'm sorry," the younger girl says with sadness spread across her face.
"it's okay" she shrugs
Since then, the two were friends. Every time Olivia's dad was in the hospital, she would bring a flower and stuffed animal for Kaylyn, she loved lions.
The two made the nurses, doctors, and their parents smile. Anytime Kaylyn reached a milestone in her treatments, Olivia was there to hold her hand.
But one day, Olivia was told she couldn't visit Kaylyn because she has gotten worse over the month she's gone without seeing her. They were 7 and 8 at this point, and they got a little more of an understanding of death and cancer than they already had.
On March 3, 2008, Kaylyn Sawyer passed away at 12:25 in the morning with her family and nurses surrounding her room.
Olivia was crushed by the news. She didn't talk to anyone for a week. At the funeral, all the stuffed animals Olivia had brought her friend surrounded her casket, the girl added one last one to the collection, a pink lion with a scarf.
After only a year after Kaylyn's passing, Markus passes away in his hospital room. This was where Olivia's life started going down hill.
The kid's mom became neglectful, always drunk or doing drugs in front of them. This led Miya to become Austin and Olivia's practical mother, that was until their grandparents from Ohio took them in. Their grandparents were all that horrible. But they were strict. Every Sunday you had o get up to go to church, if you want to do anything over the weekend you have to clean whatever is dirty in the house before you go. Saturdays you had to be home for at least 4 hours for cleaning. You could never stay home from school, if you were sick, throw up at school then you can go home. No cartoons, only the news. and they could only play with toys for an hour out of the day.
It's safe to say the kids were miserable, but at least they had food and a roof over their heads. there were plenty of times when their mom got shared custody because she got sober, and then got it taken away after showing up high or drunk.
Olivia lost hope at a very young age because of this...
