PA5TEL had their first ever comeback with VIBIN’. It was revealed in the D-Day live that the members were really excited for this comeback as they had helped in the production process for a few of the songs. They released digital and physical copies along with the music video on September 14th, 2015. They promoted the song on music shows for 3 weeks.

they pitched in some ideas to make the choreo more unique this time around

they decided to use props like chairs and couches to make the choreo feel a lot more fun

he said how Eungwang actually added a personal detail to each accessory

bolin also nearly spoiled the whole chorus of another song that wasn’t released yet

Haewon & Monsta X (2020)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Monsta X being only 6 members on paper, Haewon is a 7th member addition. I did not forget about Wonho, the only reason he is not in the group picture is because he is not part of the current line up. He is in the post at the VERY bottom.

Their relationship hasn’t changed all that much.Their relationship is sometimes seen as a father-daughter one, but Haewon describes the relationship more as like brother and sister. He still cares for her immensely and wants her to succeed.

Haewon will state over and over again that Shownu is the rock of the group. He reminds her so much of her own father that she goes to him if she feels unsafe - which is sadly quite often now. The nightmares from the early days still come and go, so she isfound curled against him from time to time.

As the two foodies of the group, they only trust each other with their secret snack stash at the dorm. During fansigns, if fans brings snacks, it is an ongoing battle to keep the personal ones personal. Haewon has learned to bite when Shownu tries to reach for her food.

If Shownu considers Minhyuk the only troublemaker child, then he needs to do a recount. Haewon is usually well behaved, but when partnered with Minhyuk, chaos rains from above. She describes Minhyuk as the chaotic older brother she’s never had. He usually takes her out for 3am convenience store runs after long days. 

She usually has to battle Jooheon for Minyuk’s affection and attention on camera, but she lets him have it since all of them know that her and Minhyuk’s interaction could send the wrong message. Don’t worry, she gets all the annoyance once the cameras are off.

Many fans say their voices compliment each other, especially because Haewon got downgraded to a sub-vocal/harmonizer on most title tracks. Minhyuk really encourages her to sing more and will sometimes not sing when they perform live for Haewon’s voice to be heard.

These two just want what’s best for the group. Designated the unofficial “moms” of Monsta X, they alternate on who has to wake up and get everyone ready for the day. This allowed the two of them become a machine of sorts, constantly reading each others’ minds and having conversations without saying a word. It’s come in handy during award shows as he immediately falls in step with her with just a look.

Much like Minhyuk and Haewon, fans say her voice and Kihyun’s not only compliment but enhance each other. Kihyun trusts her the most to cover his lines if he is unavailable. Some times, like Minhyuk, he’ll have Haewon take his lines during a performance. He also keeps pushing for the arranger to give her more lines and notes as she is not being utilized correctly.

Kihyun is the most protective of Haewon when they are in public, especially when they are in an interview. He will quickly change the subject if the interviewer targets her specifically. On top of the silent conversations, if she grips his shirt sleeves or hides behind him, Kihyun will do anything to ease her mind.

Hyungwon is the older brother she wish she had growing up. Unlike the others, where they like to go somewhere to hangout, they just like each others’ presence while they work. They’ll be in the same room as each other and that’ll be enough.

If Kihyun is the most protective of Haewon, Hyungwon comes a close second. During some of their first fan signs, the rest of the group let their teasing get out of hand. He noticed Haewon looking down and for away to leave stage before he changed the subject. Hyungwon is not afraid to call anyone out for how they treat her.

When it comes to the various model contracts Monsta X has, Haewon and Hyungwon seem to be the most sought after. Haewon prefers to model solo since she’s had bad experiences with male models. It wasn’t until her and Hyungwon modeled together that magic happened. Until the day she feels comfortable, Haewon prefers to model with Hyungwon or any other Monsta X member.

These two are masters of duality, from sweet to sour in a moment’s notice. Haewon credits Jooheon with helping her master her stage presence. She was very unsure of herself when she first debuted with the group, so Jooheon pulled her aside to give her some pointers. Over time, she got a little too confident to the point that he has some major competition for the fans’ hearts.

Though he is known for his aegyo, Haewon actually hates it. She always says he naturally cute, forcing it just makes her want to vomit. If he has to do it on a show or an interview, he will target her specifically and feel accomplished as she tries to push him away.

Jooheon was supposed to be her rap mentor when she first joined, but that got cancelled before it even happened. Even so, he’ll have her sit in when he works on his raps. Over the years, she picked up on his rhythm and flow to create her own unknowingly. Now, he’ll pass her the mic during certain songs to surprise the crowd.

Changkyun was the first to accept Haewon into the group since he was somewhat in her shoes nearly a year prior. He stayed by her side from her addition to her debut to make her feel comfortable. It’s thanks to this action that the two have the strongest bond out of the whole group.

Instead of Jooheon, Changkyun became Haewon’s rap mentor due to how comfortable she felt with him at the time. While Jooheon’s flow influenced her own, Changkyun’s writing style influenced her own. Much like his mixtapes, Haewon’s music is comparatively chill compared to Monsta X’s music.

If Minhyuk and Haewon are chaos,these two are the peaceful pair. Compared to the others, Changkyun and Haewon know how to remain out of trouble. The trouble they do cause is when they’re given the chance to annoy and make fun of their elders. It’s become a fan favorite when they go off into their own little worlds.

Though they mostly started off on the wrong foot, Haewon looks to the boys as her brothers. There’s no animosity against them as the past is the past. The boys will spoil her any chance they get, just to remind her that she is well loved by the group. They hate seeing reminders of how they acted back then. They love seeing fans love every memory they’ve made with her and look forward to the ones to come.

During her debut, one of them was constantly at her side. They would cover her ears if someone was shouting rude things at her, close social media, switch the conversation to different subject, or defend her. They were there to always remind her that the days would pass and that they would always be there for her.

It goes without saying that even though she’s only older than Changkyun, Haewon is Monsta X’s baby. Pair that with her being the shortest and lightest of the group, and you have all the boys picking her up and carrying her on their shoulder during a concert, fan signs, and/or in general. Haewon has admitted that she feels the safest on Shownu’s shoulders.

Haewon’s little sister status is 100% clear when she’s with Wonho. He’s completely weak for her. He was the first to accept her as someone irreplaceable after her ankle injury during her pre-debut period. He saw her work ethic and drive, and it made him realize that Monsta X could use someone like that.

In order to keep up with the rest, Haewon had to hit the gym more than normal. Thankfully, Wonho was there to step in and go with her. On top of being her spotter for certain equipment, he protected her from any guy that even dared to approach her. Haewon cherishes that to this day.

Due to their respective animals being the fox and the bunny, the two play in to this relationship. Mostly at fan signs where Haewon is able to secure ammo from fans to attack him. He takes it in amusement as he knows her heart is happy. They are the softest duo out of Monsta X due to their kind hearts.

A Place Called Home

 A little Seungcheol and Bao moment to start off. 

Li Bao hadn't spoken to her father, Li Chen for a while now, it was going on months now. Whilst she'd been busy with the new album he'd been busy filming Keep Running in China. Alongside the busy schedule she spent majority of her day running around after the 13 chaotic boys in the two dorms, having made it difficult for the Chinese member to even pee in peace never mind have enough time to call her Dad.

Whilst she was sat waiting for the oven to heat up she sat and thought about the first plane ride she took to Korea when she got invited for an audition, how she sat on the plane next to her father trying to quell the tears in her eyes with the lump in her throat. It made her homesick remembering the sad smile her father gave her once they said their goodbyes in the airport. Thinking about him made her feel sick, longing for the home she left behind all those years ago.

The group had gotten back from filming Going Seventeen and they were tired and hungry, so as usual Bao was cooking the boys food for dinner, chopping the veg to make some Japchae. It had already turned 9pm and she let out a sigh realising she didn't buy any rice on their drive home. Bao was the kind of tired at this point where she needed a good months sleep and so much more. When Bao was overly tired like this made her really emotional and had become an ingrained part of her nightly routine.

"Cheol?" She shouted trying to find her car keys on the counter, when they get in from schedule Mingyu usually places all of Bao's belongings away whilst she works hard to make them food, but for some reason she couldn't find them.

"Ne Princess?"

"Have you seen my car keys?"

Out of no where Bao felt his arms wrap around her waist, tightening lovingly as she twisted to look at him. "You need to go to bed. They're right next to you- what do you need i'll go get them." Ironically there they were placed in the storage tub next to her purse, just as she went to grab them an unbeatable force stopped her from moving again. "Bao, go call your dad and go to bed. Huannie's already called me to complain that we make you do too much, and quite frankly i'm too handsome to have my head sliced off by the spawn of satan herself."

"I'm only going to the store Cheollie, I'l be there and back before you can spell Abracadabra in english." She giggled, unwrapping herself from his warm chest.

"Don't be stupid Princess." He took her keys and set her purse out of her sight and was already dragging her toward the door, her keys and his wallet proudly in his hand.

"Yah! I'm fine Cheollie you can stay here,"

"I'm coming with you at least- It's late."

"You're acting like I don't own hands and feet. Oh and my r*pe whistle."

"Where did you get a the whistle from?"

Carots were used to seeing the two roaming the lit streets late at night, just passing by like they weren't global Idols. They were usually going to the store, raiding the ramen and generally having a laugh pushing each other into bushes. Fans didn't bother disturbing the Idol's as they strolled passed them, finding that the two were completely in their own world.

As they finished shopping they found themselves in a park, Seungcheol was enjoying the quiet comfort they provided each other in that moment. He only stared at the woman as she hummed along to a melody her and Woozi had made up in the studio only hours ago. Whilst in their comfortable solace she began to think about the moment she wished she was trapped in, how open she felt when around the charismatic man and their 12 idiotic children. Thinking about how much she adored Seungcheol's Daegu accent like he was constantly scolding her as they lived their life with their family 24/7.

In the middle of her thoughts she realised that she'd managed to hum the chorus that neither Woozi or herself could figure out in the studio, but she got pulled out of the discovery as he handed her his phone with her fathers number already dialled.

"Hello? Seungcheol?" Li Chen's broken Korean spoke after hearing the line fumble on their side.

"Hello? Pa? It's Bao." She smiled within two seconds of hearing his voice started playing with the drawstrings of Seuncheol's sweatshirt.

"Hey! Li Bao it's late why are you not resting?!" His Hu dialect was a punch to the heart, she could picture his forehead creased and him biting his thumb, it was something she'd gotten from him. They were family thumb biters.

"Woah, I didn't know it was a crime to call my dad. I was mainly checking up to see if Kai Ge hasn't beat you to a pulp yet." Another family trait, they were never overly loving to each other, avoiding any sort of feelings they had under humour.

"Hiyah, you used to say you were calling home, it's more like I should be calling you more often to make sure those boys are treating you well." Li Chen teased =, noticing she sounded a lot more happier than the last time they had called.

Bao giggled. "I think I found my home Pa, where these boys are is my home. I'm home." She replied softly smiling at Seungcheol, although he had no clue what they were talking about the smile on his face had him reassured that it was a good conversation. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her close, gently rubbing her arm. Despite the drowsiness of her body and the faint sick feeling in her stomach, it fluttered at the feeling of her body pressed against his. She sunk into the warmth of his side, appreciative of the simple gesture. His touch made the air warmer somehow, her future within its air seeming a little less cold and bleak.

That night when they got home the boys- mainly Joshua and Jeonghan forced the two to go to bed, the boys were fully aware on how tired the two eldest were at the moment and took it upon themselves to look after the two. So there they were in their shared bedroom, holding each other tightly, despite the overwhelming urge to turn over and drop into consciousness.

Bao snuggled in, "You're the only person I know that gives indefinite hugs."

The man snickered under her gaze, "Well, princess, where else would I rather be?" In that moment the arms squeezed a fraction tighter and Bao breathed more slowly, her body melting into his as every muscle lost its tension to the spring air. This was life, real life. This feeling right here. It's home.
