The man on the radio tickers through Tuesday, tussles with an overly sellotaped box full of tasties, and toots his horn to celebrate a certain Wuthering Heights lady. Weatherwise it's time to haul out the deckchairs ... sunshine two days in a row! The traffic lady ruminates on the roads before happily re-mentioning the damaged Gull from the weekend's sport. Apparently the bird fell broken winged onto the pitch ... was whisked away ... and is now happily recuperating at a local wildlife sanctuary.

Today's groaner: The head cook was also a proud linguist. He boasted to his team that he'd finally figured out that champagne and sugar are the only words that sound like 'sh' without starting with 'sh'. One of his assistants hesitated for a moment before saying ........ "Chef ... are you sure?" ;-D badoom tish ... here all week!!

Reflecting on yesterday's shiny metropolis trip. Little Dude had his stitches out and is tentatively using his now 'bionic' leg ... he'll be really smiling once the 'blue doughnut' is no longer on his neck. Captain Blackbeard had his 'tonic' and is happily back to his retirement hobby of watching the mice as they raid his biscuits. I'm gradually getting coffee saturated and contemplating today's blueberry and apple cake.
