IX Pentacles VI Swords Queen of Wands
Always one of my favourite cards from the deck, a young woman in a maxi dress out of a heavy looking fabric with a type of oversized baroque carpet flower pattern, diamond ribbon empire waist and hand-painted star disc in her hand. That arm that lies by her side, and she appears to be whistling or singing to a delicate bird on the finger of her raised hand. Below the bird cascades the remaining 8 pentacles. A paradisaical feeling, the enjoyment of the honed skill and hard work.
Figure with back to the viewer is pushing the boat across a lake, six swords at the bow in front of two people sitting, feeling of forward movement, crystallization of an idea or mental power in a transitional period.
Friendly and open-faced woman with short hair wearing what I now realize IS THE SAME MAXI DRESS AS in the IX of Pentacles anyway she is sitting in a carved wood armchair smiling amused and self confident off to her left, our right, loosely holding her wand, which is a stable staff.
