I've been rewatching lately so these are fresh in my brain 💛

my favorite female character: Dee Reynolds. My fail girl princess. And I can't not give a shout out to Artemis, she's just perfectly weird.

my favorite male character: Eternally oscillating between Charlie and Mac, depending on the episode. Part of me wants to say Frank, just cause I know no one ever says Frank though.

my favorite book/season/etc: Season's 4 and 6 are pretty much perfect, 9 is also up there pretty high for me.

my favorite episode (if its a tv show): With 16 seasons and counting I don't think I can pick just one, my go to's are Mac & Charlie Die Part 1 & 2, Charlie Catches a Leprechaun, Mac & Charlie White Trash & The Gang Gets Quarantined. (There's a real one part Charmac, one part Reynolds family dynamic happening in a lot of my favorite episodes I'm realizing, but not surprised about it.)

my favorite cast member: Danny Devito and Kaitlin Olson are objectively so much cooler than everyone else, but I listen to the podcast and it's made me a bit of an RCG girl.

my favorite ship: Charmac. I don't think any of them should ever actually get together, they should be stuck as a group forever, but I love a good childhood friends to lovers and I see the vision of Charmac and what it could be.

a character I’d die defending: Maureen Ponderosa, if a girl wants to be a cat let her be, you should have buried her in that pet cemetery Dennis! I also truly delusionally think Dee has done nothing wrong.

a character I just can’t sympathize with: I do not support the lifestyle the McPoyle's have embraced.

a character I grew to love: Mrs. Mac and Mrs. Kelly were both just kind of there at first for me, but now I always look forward to when they're in an episode. I almost said Dennis as if I didn't hear him say 'the boys are out tonight, huh?' in the very first episode and I never looked back.

my anti otp: I don't really have one I just clearly prefer something to the majority, I'll say diplomatically lol.

The Gang from Always Sunny. Yes, they've ruined lives and committed a laundry list of crimes and are all terrible, but that's what makes them fun.

Guillermo de la Cruz from What We Do In the Shadows. He is complicit to and done so MANY terrible things, but he's innocent I tell you!

Lilith from Shadowhunters. I am not immune to a hot female villain.

Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's just having a good, crazy time, it's fine. Also, see above answer.

Blaine Anderson from iZombie. Not a redeeming quality about this man, but oh, was he fun.

no way u're putting pushing daisies on my dash the ONE day i consider watching it after not thinking of it for years. i'd always planned to see it like 10 years ago and then eventually gave up but TODAY i was like wait didn't people on tumblr love this?? should i try it out? and then i see your reblog and it might be fate so, would u recommend it? 👀

I can't recommend watching it enough. One of my short lived favorites (it kind of has an ending, but definitely was intended to have more just fair warning), but SO worth watching.

It's very quirky and unexpectedly emotional, all the characters are funny little weirdos, Kristen Chenoweth's Olive is my personal favorite. Also just an incredibly pretty show to look at as well.

I hope you enjoy it if you give it a chance!

Also added note, cause I believe you are a Hannibal fan, same writer/series creator, but with a whole other vision that works.
